Tough choice, but I'd say Itachi is the most overrated.

Minato is more underrated nowadays, whereas typical Uchiha fanboys state that Itachi can one-shot any character with Totsuka Blade, Amaterasu, or Tsyukomi.

I think this ^ would probably be true, but when it comes to the specificity of who gets it more... I think TouchMyMangos has got the right ideas. The Uchihas have more fans, Itachi has more fans, Itachi is a more prominent character that we know more about. Thus it follows that he would be supported and overrated more. But I guess there is an argument for quantitative overrating, which I have just given, and qualitative overrating where the magnitude of an overrating is just so huge and stark, e.g. "Rock Lee would stomp Nagato." I think Minato gets more of the latter, whilst Itachi gets more of the former type of overrating. And yes, I did just pull those "types of overrating" out of my ass.

Itachi would never have engaged Tobi in a fight, simply because he has like, no intel on him, and he knows that he won't be able to beat him. This isn't a debate on who's the more powerful one, but the more powerful one is however, Itachi.

Considering on panel feats, Minato is easily one of the most overrated characters, Itachi has feats everywhere. Thats why i laugh at people putting Minato over Itachi in tier lists, he had 2 fights that didnt end, and a combat style based on 2 moves, boring as hell.

I don't get you, if a shinobi is smart, he'll know that he shouldn't fight Obito, because the only way to get through his Kamui is by having one yourself, or by attacking him for 5 straight minutes ?

you talk like you think itachi believed he was weaker thn obito. all the itachi fans claim he was stronger and that obito was the one scared. so i dont know what world youre living in with this 'itachi thought he was smart by staying away'. you the only one beliving that
