More overrated: Itachi or Minato?

OT: Minato, since Itachi has shown his techs and there is more proof. But when Minato takes Itachi imo. Since Itachi said at best him and kisame would tie with Jiraiya, and Oro is apparently stronger than Jiraiya. And Hiruzen wished Minato was alive when Oro was attacking to take him. So yeah. Anywayss...

Sasuke is more overrated than the two of them combined. I mean really ever since he got EMS all the fanboys/girls r like "oh sasuke is really God now. He was practically God before, but now it's true. Now he can solo Edo Madara NO diff and if Minato were alive Sasuke would solo him too." REALLY! I MEAN ****ING REALLY!? Sasuke's lost damn near every 1 on 1 fight and people still act like he's so freaking great WELL HE'S NOT!

OT, as much as i like them, I would say that they are both equally overrated. With Itachi, he did show a myriad of abilities and showed that he was a very powerful ninja, but his extremely poor stamina would inevitably cause him to lose any prolonged match. As for Minato, HE ONLY HAS TWO TECHNIQUES! Supposedly to be Hokage you have to know at least 1000 jutsu but he only uses two! Talk about spam. I think they are both equally overrated because people give them abilities that they don't have (this happens out the @ss with Sasuke) and make it seem like they are stronger than what they are.

Minato is Awesome! Maybe overrated by some people, but if if he was the weakest ninja I would still like him! Itachi is atrong ninja, but I think he is way more overrated by most people. The most overrated person to me is not Itachi or Minato. It is Orochimaru.... but between I and M... I think Itachi is overrated more!

Itachi is still cleverer than minato. I am not saying I dislike minato because I actually like minato alot. However, itachi has proven his reputations in battle. All we have seen of minato in battle is teleportation jutsu and rasengan. Minato is overrated when it comes to him and itachi. Yes itachi killed his clan, but the leaf were going to kill them regardless. All itachi ensured was that his brother would live, and that tobi/obito would never be able to attack konoah as long as itachi lived. Sounds clever to me.

Sealed Nagato, and therefore saved Naruto and Bee from him, who would have been killed, and wouldn't have been able to put up a fight against Madara and Obito right now... He also stopped Edo Tensei.

He did nothing by himself, and he had to have a million and 1 advantages to seal nagato,you seen the manga,kabuto had already won that fight but becuase of sasuke itachi was some what spared, minato stopped obtio and kurama and didn't have the help of a perfect jin and another jin and he,so i say again itachi has done nothing on the level of minato,but he is overrated like seriously

look fanboys overrate both shinobi.....however itachi gets much more overated....minato we know is beast, due to his insane reflexes(sharingan level) and ftg....people like to underrate minato and say he only has like 4 techniques, when he has been clearly stated to be a master of fuuinjutsu....yeah there are a few people who say minato one shots whoever , with ftg or something, minato did take out a small army by himself, and he seems to have higher chakra levels..

simply based on what we have seen of the 2 characters, i would have to say itachi is overrated a bit more....but honestly they are both beast, and a fight between the 2 would be so EPIC....

but if you want to know the current most overrated shinobi, it is sasuke......he has not shown any real feats with ems to show that it is much better, other than more control over blaze release, and a more fully formed susanoo....and yet the extreme fanboys, say that he makes so6p a fodder....

sasuke>prime hiruzen>itachi>=minato>hashi>madara

that is the scale of over rateing in my opinion.....the > means the one on the left is more over rated than the right

I would have to say that Itachi is way overrated than every other character in Naruto. Why?

The reason is very simple, it's not a case of the fact that people overrated his capabilities which is still a reason. It's the fact that people seem to overrated his "Genjutsu" So such an extent were it's ridiculous.

Everything single Scenario you see Itachi in everyone says "Genjutsu, GG" or "Finger Genjutsu, game over" " Amaterasu, Good game the list is endless, with these stupid remarks. Don't get me wrong, they work however people don't seem to see that there is a limit to the effectiveness.

Amaterasu has already been dodged or blocked, By Gaara, Sasuke, Raikage. Which already show's that it's not that effective, people see Sasuke using it and think that Itachi is the same.

They completely overrated his Genjutsu so the extent it's not even funny, his genjutsu can be broken by Ninja who know what there doing. Sure tsukuyomi may be different, however.. When has it ever been casted in the Heat of battle? Never.. Because it's a close range Technique that can't just be used instantly. It Requires allot..... Concentration, with perfect eye contact. He also leaves himself venerable when he closes his eye.

Taking all that in to consideration, it's doubtful that he could pull it off against an opponent who can match him in intelligence, or even has knowledge on the Sharingan. Allot of people don't understand, that all of his techniques are his own weakness due to his Eye's not been able to take the stress of his MS attack's, not to mention his physical Stamina.

Yata Mirror, this is another nonsense thing that people don't grasp.... It's true that you can't break through it, however. Susanoo doesn't exactly have the mobility to just turn around as fast as it wishes and giving the fact that Yata Mirror isn't 360 degree's, His Susanoo is completely overrated.

Susanoo may be the massive trump card for Itachi, however... It's also his biggest weakness, considering his eye's start to bleed and he pretty much wastes his own chakra and his life. He's an incredible fighter no doubt. However... He's been portrayed in the manga as this unbeatable character however. Take all you have seen about him in to a fight, against an opponent who is potentially half decent, he's going to die.

Everyone always claims that He stopped edo tensei, this is true however... However, it wasn't his abilities that allowed him to do so.

Itachi played a massive part in the manga, however allot of people don't understand that allot of the people he beat, weren't exactly top notch and think that what he did against Kakashi and whoever else is going to work on Top Tier Ninja. Apart from Kabuto, which he was Edo and got killed twice, which doesn't count.

This is my opinion. The way people talk about him and come up with the most illogical statement's when talking about him, this is why i have deemed him the most overrated character ever.
