Did Obito failed? Going so much trouble recruiting Sasuke?

Obito went in so much trouble to convince Sasuke to join him, help him.
Obito saved Sasuke from the Kages.
Told truth about Itachi.
Obito gave Itachi's eyes gaining Sasuke the EMS.
Also maybe Sasuke might Not retreive & just kill the 9tails if he can.
But, nowhere does Sasuke shows royalty, respect towards Obito for that. He didn't join Akatsuki. As soon as Sasuke gets what he need he's on his way. So my question is ultimately Obito went trough all this trouble for nothing?

It was hardly any trouble for Obito. He did want to fuse him with the Gedo Mazo. But Sasuke does not matter to him anymore. Ten-Tails = Infinite Genjutsu!!!

Well Obito may not care anymore for Sasuke but it will the moment Sasuke comes after him.

Obito thought he had succeeded in getting Sasuke on his side but since Itachi was still in action and gave Itachi to opportunity to snap some sense into his brother, Obito's goal will likely be crushed for good.

I fee like at this point, the sole reason to have reveiled the truth to Sasuke was only so that Naruto and Sasuke would be strong enough to defeat madara / obito.... Had it not been for Kotoamatsukami tho, obito would have succeeded, but Itachi's planning of everything made it possible for Sasuke to have the chance to walk the right path again

Sasuke didnt even care about getting the 8 tails and failing to get a jinchuriki is understandable as it isnt easy especially when one controls the bijjuu like in sasuke's case. Seconly Obito is the moron who sent 3 kids to get the 8tails. Sasuke didn't have enough experience with his new eyes while karin, su***su and Jugo are fodder.

Sasuke also never intended to beat all 5 kages which is not easy either are u slow??

I don't know why Obito wanted Sasuke. Becuase they're family.... maybe? But Obito helped kill his whole family.... Maybe he was just intrigued by him, I don't know. Obito doesn't need him though.

This is from Obitos persective I know Sasuke didn't care about capturing Bee or beating the Kages its not about him its about Obito, Obito wanted Bee captured and he wanted Sasuke to injure the Kages so he could take them hostage and bargain for the Jinchuriki, Sasuke failed to complete these, therefore Obito wasted his time and got nothing out of it.
