Are the Sarutobi also Senju?

I was thinking about this and wondered, "Are the Sarutobi related to the Senju?"

My initial thoughts came from the fact that Hiruzen, Third Hokage, was learned in all Jutsu in the Leaf Village:





The Senju are recognized for knowing all manner of Jutsu, which Hiruzen was a master of all techniques.

Also, Obito makes this mention of Senju lineage, of which Minato and Hiruzen are among:





So, I think that the Sarutobi clan are of Senju lineage.

What does this mean?

1) That they have strong life forces





2) They can master all manners of Jutsu. "Senju" means "Thousand Skills", so Thousand Skills clans because they were renowned to be masters of many jutsu's.


Yet, they were never candidates for the Kyuubi Jinchuriiki.

Another interesting thing is that they are the ones responsible of giving earings to the Yamanaka, Naka, and Akimichi clans.





Also, there is the fact that only Uchiha and Senju are created the village, so its not too crazy to assume that most if not all clans that joined are related to both Uchiha and Senju:

But why? Obito seems to clump the Sarutobi and Uzumaki name together with Senju which we already know that Uzumaki are related too, so why not Sarutobi?

if the sarutobi clan is related to the senju,clan, it would mean that naruto is related to all 5 hokages

Actually, in the chapters covering the Uchiha uprising it was suggested that control of the village had forever remained in Senju hands, suggesting that Hiruzen, and consequently the other Sarutobis are at least related to the Senju. However, they aren't Senju in the sense that they are a separate clan. It may be a scenario similar to the Uzumaki.

Maybe it emphasizes the fact that the Uchiha are under this curse of hatred which make them incompatible for being Hokage, like Obito. I don't see it as a crazy claim, and may have more significance later on.
