three tails weapon?

i was watching the some of the earlier shippuuden episodes where asuma and shikamaru are fight hidan and kakuzu, and kotetsu summoned this weird lookin mace thing that looked alot like the three tails.

anyone got any ideas on if there is any significance to it or if there are anymore weapons made with the Bijuu as the basis?

I think the similarity is just a conicidence, besides what would Kotetsu be doing with a 3 tails weapon. the ideea of bijuu based weapons is cool, but it hasnt been mentioned in the manga so I guess they dont exist
