O/T: What a sad chapter. I feel bad that it had to be shikaku, Ao and Inoichi but the war definitely has way more depth to it now. Its a completely different ball park when its named shinobi dying. The panels with Shikamaru's reaction were horrible, very, very sad.

Also I feel like Kiba has been the king of one liners lately. Two chapters ago he told naruto not to show off around hinata which is hilarious given the situation they were in, today the alliance got f#ckin destroyed and he said "that was scary". Seriously? I don't think Kiba takes anything seriously not even the juubi haha....

This manga fails to have any.

Kakashi is low on chakra. It wasn't that it wasn't fast enough it was because he couldn't build up enough chakra in time to stop the first bijuu dama (hence why Kitsuchi had to step in). The jutsu itself is fast, but can't be done quickly if kakashi is low on chakra since he has to build it up first, like he did against deidara at the start of part 2.

It being ridiculous doesn't change that the reasoning for it was completely stupid. He kamui'd arguably the fastest being in narutoverse history, yet "it's not fast enough" to stop that?

This entire arc has been nothing but ridiculous. It's like a Godzilla movie at this point.

My nigga Madara never disappoints, good chapter even tho Sasuke wasn't there. The Juubi, Biju dama goes beyond levelin mountains it's destroying villages like Pain Chou Shinra tensei, one shot at Naruto em and they are dead. I have no clue how they're going to win this. I didn't expect anyone to die in this chapter, but Madara realized last chapter it was strange how the Shinobi alliance devised a plan against them so fast, he knew to take out their mind good job Madara.

Great chapter although short in pages. The only think i didn't like was Juubi's final form...it looks kinda weird...:confused:
Otherwise, i loved the heroic effort of Shikaku in the end and how they stayed at the HQ waiting to die (not that they could do anything but still...)

1. That's your opinion but I think that when this war will be over, it will be by far the best arc in the entire serie. Also, I love OP stuff and over the top action so I don't mind.

2. Kakashi Kamui'd Naruto because he wanted to. It was a strategy to attack Tobi/Obito in the other dimension.

Shikaku also mentions that blocking is one specialty of the 3 clans . Could he possibly mean the Ino-Shika-Chou formation? I think the base of his plan will be that but of course other shinobi will help too

I agree, although it is painfully obvious that Obito will redeem himself somehow (and most likely die in the process)

As for the chapter, I liked it. It was a nice change of pace and for the first time in several weeks I've cared about what happened. Sure I still think the story at this point has its head up its own anus but considering that, not too shabby.

So now Shikamaru has lost his dad and Asuma and he handles that like a boss. Sasuke is still being Sasuke I guess.
