Naruto's War Arc

Now, as many of you may have either vented or witnessed multiple other members complain about this war arc, it is quite obvious that it's a fail (for the most part) Therefore, I would like to know if it was the war itself that sucked or was the manga already going downhill???

If you blame the war, do you think it shouldn't have been a war at all or should it have ben between village as in the past, giving all shinobi a chance to shine??

But if you think you the series was already in shambles and the war was JUST the last strike, when did it start failing for you???

The war is not shit. My favorite character has gotten close to 0 screen time and I still like it. The fights have been good for the most part and we've many new jutsus and character development.

I blame the war, only because not enough edo's where to kill off/win there battle's against the allied force's but that's basically my only problem with this arc, its like a bad itch man I don't wan't to be angry at the series but I am .

not that it sucks, but just not living up to the hype that it use to have. This is more of being disappointed.

the war arc itself is fail and kishi manga sales show it......i had very little complaints about the naruto series up until that point......the amount of WTF things that have happened in this war is just to much......naruto soloing everything...izanami...and low amount of deaths these are just a few things that just made this arc blah. I'm not upset at the fact that their was a war its how the war was gone about that irritates me.

I feel that same way, there are just too many complaints that can be brought up regarding this one arc. Some points were really good, like Edo being used and seeing past shinobi but the rest just didnt do it for me. Also, i think it would have been slightly more interesting if it was between village, it would have added emotion to seeing ppl faves fight each other and we would have seen some side-character action.

Pretty much 100 wasted chapters. With the low amount of deaths added to the 100 or so chapters one would think what the manga has accomplished in those chapters could have been done in like 30.

Exactly. I just feel like 100 freakin' chapters could have been used soooo much better than edos killing fodders. I would rather have an arc dedicated to sakura and konohamaru playing shuffleboard

More fighting, all the loose ends are slowly being tied up. I don't see a problem. Understandably, the fights are a bit less memorable so far compared to other fights, but I attribute that to how long they've been dragged out. Once it's over, and they can be seen as a whole, I think it will look much better.

i wanted the villages to fight each other, there would have been mixed emotions and experiences between characters fighting each other and killing each other, it would have given the war a new dimension that would have been a masterpiece. and they would actually be a threat to each other, not like the fodder zetsu. and it would have been awesome to see the kage fight against each other.

this is how I feel! Kish of course is the writer, but as a fan i really would have loved to see the villages go at it! Things would have been epic and a lot of unanswered questioned probably would have been answered.

While keeping hope is everything in being a fan of anything, it's certain things that are just too problematic. Now, when considering how Kish is trying to develop that storyline is seems that things are at a tough spot

you can only answer that if you personally feel disappointed with how things are now in the series, whether it is because of the war or events that occurred before the war.

Don't know what you guys are talking about, I think the war has been beyond awesome in the manga, itachi and nagato vs naruto and bee, gaara vs his dad and the second mizukage, anything tobi, madara, or sasuke related, I've liked all of it

The series aren't getting any shtty or anything.

The reason is “Groupthink”. When someone finds pretest to talk bad about something in these kind of scenario, Usually people like trolls etc. take advantage and hop on that bandwagon of failure talk.

I think it should have been more dramatic. (showing more important characters' deaths & overall backstory of war)

In the end, it's Kishi's story. The way everything is progressing now is the way he wants it to, I guess. I'm just happy I can enjoy such a cool story.

a real fan can disappointed in a series he/she grown up watching if things aren't as they use to be or just whack as a whole. This opinionated and if you feel its great that's nice, but this was directed towards those who have an issue with the current status of the series. Now, if you're able to provide an opinion to any of the questions that would be nice and all that's needed.
