Kishi, master of foreshadowing ?
Hey guys, a few weeks ago I posted a thread with a picture from one of the early chapters made by Kishi, which seemed to contain a lot of foreshadowing. I always intended to make another thread going a bit deeper into it, but somehow just forgot, until now :D
So anyways, I'll show you this picture. It appears at page 2 in chapter 15, and honestly seems like it could contain some clues for the future. IDK though, maybe I'm just reading too much into it, you decide :D
Here's the pic:

Alright, I'll be listing a few of the objects on this picture that I find interesting.
1. The first thing I noticed about this picture, a symbol on the scroll that Naruto has strapped to his back, which looks weirdly similar to the Mangekyo Sharingan of Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Obito (it could be either one). I don't know if that was intentional, but the fact that this chapter's name is "Sharingan Resurrected" kind of leads me to believe that Kishi had decided on the Mangekyo playing a big part in the story.
2. Something that was pointed out by "iSpeak the Truth", another marking on Naruto's scrolls, the Yin-Yang symbol. Like he pointed out, this could be Kishi foreshadowing Naruto's last and final power up, getting the other part of Kurama's chakra, which his father sealed in the Reaper Death Seal.
3. Speaking of the RDS, do you notice something weird about Sakura ? This could be a coincidence, but it seems to me that that knife in her mouth looks surprisingly similar to the knife the Reaper has in his mouth.
4. Alright, let's move along. Look at Sasuke. You notice that gourd he has on his hip ? Look familiar ? It should. There are actually two things that I think this gourd could mean, and one of them is that Kishi had decided on Sasuke fighting Gaara (who obviously, always carries his gourd) The other possibility, is that Sasuke's next powerup will be the Totsuka Blade, the former sword of his brother. The sword was really just a gourd, who could extend a blade out of it, and since the gourd carries the symbol of the Uchiha, I'd say that theory is more likely.
5. Sasuke's flute, which looks pretty similar to the flute Tayuya used in battle. I'm not quite sure what this could mean, but it might stand for Sasuke's Genjutsu capabilities increasing...but I honestly don't know...
6. A very unlikely one, but Sasuke's strawhat does kind of resemble the ones the Akatsuki wear sometimes, but like I said, it's not a very likely one
Anyways, thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it :D

Maybe, maybe not on all of them. Why? Because we can't really prove it or not.
Sasuke does look strangely familiar to Itachi here

I honestly think you're making a mistake here. I think someone mentioned the flute thing on iSpeak the Truth's thread, maybe there was someone there who did it ? I at least don't normally call other users names

Re: Kishi, master of foreshadowing ?
He had obito foreshadowed since chapter 16 the chapters title is who are you
And Sakura asks who was that masked kid when kakashi was talking about the hidden mist body erasers

Sakura's knife and the Death Reaper Seal.
They're similar but dunno if they have a story.
Kishi has done many foreshadowings via his designs
Remember in the chapter Speed as Sasuke was coiled by a Snake? Guess where he went later?
Yeah, that one was kind of a long shot Just figured, "hey, a knife in her mouth, that looks familiar" Who knows, maybe Hiruzen taught it to Tsunade who tought it to Sakura
BTW, I wondered a lot on Sakura's axes, you have any ideas about that ? :s

I wondered a lot about many things. The axes, the fans, but as for not, have no idea, to be honest.

That doesn't justify you disliking the thread though.

Maybe that foreshadows how Sakura will be a medic (somehow)?

Re: Kishi, master of foreshadowing ?
Was intresting to read, I have noticed only about Sasuke's flute thing xD.
I think that Kishi used that picutre to help himself to continue with his Manga, so maybe he aready used all the ideas in the picutre, so probaly he wont use it again.
But still, nice thread , rep. ^^

Nah, I don't think so.
That was from where she stands on a Slug, being the Slugs who are with the healing but that's for other thing, if it is.
What this page shows me anyway, is that I was right when I was telling people she's the last one who'll get development.
Look at it.
Naruto is 1st, next to him Sasuke, next to him kakashi and the last positioned is Sakura.
And before that is the page where she stands on a Slug.
Sakura didn't even get the Slug, yet.
So yeah, this only strengthenes what I've been telling people about her development.

Re: Kishi, master of foreshadowing ?
One thing I anticipated in Naruto was the Tengu god. I thought that Sasuke's curse mark level 2 would lead to a transformation that would resemble the tengu wind god.

You're mixing up a few things there. The Uchiha clan is loosly based on the Tengu, wheter it leads to revealing the Tengu God Sojobo himself,.. I hope so.
Also, he's not a wind-god, but God of the mountains.
However Naruto and Sasuke have been compaired to Fuujin and Raijin, the Budhistic gods of wind and thunder, for using thunder and wind elements.

Re: Kishi, master of foreshadowing ?
Well we have to think about how long ago this illustration was made, meaning some of the foreshadowed things could have already happened not specifically hinting to the future of the manga even at this point. The straw hat as you said is identical to the Akatsuki's Straw hat[1]. This could be a foreshadow back then that Sasuke was to join the Akatsuki[1]. The flute back then could also represent that Sasuke was to join the Sound Ninja[1]. A Flute being an instrument of sound and a weapon of one of the sound ninja would be the best representation without completely revealing the message. The Straw hat and flute could very well mean something else for Sasuke. The straw hat being protection on the head from the sun's heat could be portraying that later Sasuke will become more "hot headed" while fighting as Akatsuki[1], but while he worked for the Sound Ninja was as calm as a flutes notes while in crisis during battle[1]. There was a huge shift and difference between the Sasuke that traveled with the sound and the Sasuke that traveled with the Akatsuki. I myself am unsure about the gourd, but for any and every case for the gourd(Totsuka Blade and Gaara's sand) a gourd has been used for storage.
