I second this, though it'll probably take a while before you're used to the art style, it's totally worth it.

well if any manga i read i usually watch the show then go to manga plus i always skip filler just because there so many mangas

I know, I've started watching the Anime cause Idk where to read the Manga.

i'm going to give you conflicting advice to the guy above me, if you go for one piece read the manga, the anime is infuriantingly slow-paced (somewhat the fault of the manga itslef but also due to the animation style), and quite frankly the animation is crap until the water 7 arc (around 200 episodes in). still is imo, i don't watch it anymore only read.

i've never read them, but hellsing, code geass, and death note are highly praised. maybe you should give them a try.
