It was good to see a semi-main character finally die, it was just a matter of time besides Tsunade but that has yet to be said for sure.....but we lost a genius today!!! R.I.P. Neji!

Im sad it had to be Neji to die but it was kinda needed. Obito put Madara in his place too. And i think Shikaku's death might be foreshadowing that Shikamaru is about to be the "Mind" of the army considering how smart he is which would be awesome. Also I think if Obito brought everyone back like Nagato did it would be fanservice and repetitive.

I think that this war is going to be a long one.. because kishi is changing his style.. the chapter lately is always in a shadow.. u can't make any predictions as easy as before.. the story became more complex.. it's just not about fighting anymore like it used to be..

what i can conclude from 2 previous chapter.. shikaku death and now neji death.. maybe kishi is trying to make more burden on Naruto shoulder.. Naruto as obito said " he never lets any of his comrades die" , but as the battle going on, more and more Naruto companions died.. and Naruto can't do anything or stopping it.. maybe this to make Naruto changes his minds to agree with the Moon Eyes planned or to make Naruto more angry to fight Madara + Obito..

Kishi probably made this chapter end with neji's death probably because of two reasons. One is that he needs to rap up the war. My guess is that naruto will go all out rage mode on obito and madara but there needs to be a trigger for his anger. That is neji's death. The second possibility is probably because everyone kept on saying the chapters before were boring. SO he made it interesting, something to get everyones attention. THink so guys?

This chapter sucked, 1/5. They could have killed Neji in the first 5 pages, and the rest could have been actually epic, but nooo .

wow half expected this to happen but it did. My guess is;

a few major character dies, sasuke shows up, team up with naruto and defeated obito/madara . Naruto suffered from using a forbidden form/jutsu and have not much time to live. Naruto does a final battle with sasuke and in the end naruto went missing and sasuke went on and be the next hokage fulfilling naruto wishes. after 10 years have pass someone that look like naruto appears in konoha. i expect to see obito, rin and kakashi grave placed together.

the hawk, which we saw during the chuunin exams, represented neji's freedom from hatred of the main family, and it died in the same way neji did. So it's basically supposed to represent Neji himself.
