These "deaths" took far too long. I don't see how you could possibly talk when a wooden spike penetrates your upper and lower back, RIGHT on the spine, and then they both sprout god-knows how many branches throughout one's body. Their also wasn't enough deaths, and it focused FAR to much of the hyuuga clan. However, I did like how the bird was shot with the wood spike, that really shows kishi has stopped appealing to the babbies and is making an adult manga that deals with serious topics taht isn't masked by casual garbage.

lol for real though i can totally see kishi pulling a DBZ and having everyone revived by rinne tensei at the end of the war. He killed people and brought them back once, so i wouldn't put it past him.

I thought the way he died was perfect but I also would have to agree and say that he should of died a long time ago when they went to go and retrieve Sasuke. They didnt really give Neji as much screen time as they use to. He was the shit in part 1 and a pretty badass character to see fight but they just didnt show his skills off as much as before.

Neji hasn't been a relevant character since the Sasuke retrieval arc in part 1. As for him being a 'genius', not sure where people are getting this. Shikamaru is a genius. His old man Shikaku was a genius. Neji never came up with some brilliant strategy or anything like that to warrant him being a genius other than PNJ with Naruto calling him one. His ocular powers looked cool during the chunnin exams, but than Kishi developed the Sharingan powers and made them similar as far as seeing chakra and nullified the byakugans specialness. He was a decent character once upon a time that Kishi let go by the wayside and now used his death as a lazy way of not developing his character any further. RIP Neji thread should have been made after part 1 cause that's when it seems he died for Kishimoto
