In the past, neji was shown to have the ability to emit chakra from every part of his body. He did it when he freed himself from kidomarus web in part 1, and again when he escaped kisames water prison. Considering that stuff like the rasengan eg is pure chakra and can crush solid objects, why didnt neji just use his ability to act as a shield and crush the tree thing flying towards him? I guess kishi got a little too eager to kill him here. Note: unlike when he was stabbed by kidomaru due to having reached his limit, i find it hard to believe he was out of stamina so soon in this chapter. A full emission of chakra from his back should have crushed or at least slowed down that projectile.
If main chars have to die, i would like their deaths to be more logical.

Second strongest or first strongest, it doesnt matter. What you fail to realize is that it was one of DOZENS of projectiles shot from one bloody finger. There were like 9 or 10 Hands so if you divide the power its not a big deal at all. Also consider that kitsuchi stopped like hundreds of those with his earth tech while neji was completely owned by just one.

Dude obito isnt defined by this attack alone. Also, nowhere is it stated that those needle things are too strong, only that theyre too many so i dont know what your blabbering about. And strongest is relative and keeps on changing so that argument fails. Nice try at sarcasm though.

Maybe, but no way is he more than a 100 times stronger like this chapter suggests. When i reread the chapter i git the impression neji died to easily.
