Its a problem with my Pc (using Windows)

I keep getting a pop-up saying i have a missing DLL file however the file isn't real because the pop-up is from a trojan.

Im using AVG and its not finding the trojan at all. does anybody have an idea on what to do?

delete any antivirus u have installed

Are you sure the message is from a trojan because DLL files do have a practical use and some programs can't run without them.

Here's what I suggest:

1) Get the file it ask's for and monitor it to see if it does anything weird.

or

2) Don't take my advice seriously and seek out someone with more experience than me.

all my programmes work fine ive searched for the file it says (using google) and its never been heard of

here you go like i said the Dll file thats missing isnt a real DLL file. its the result of a trojan i cant find in my system.

if you are sure that it comes from a trojan, i would download another anti-virus-system (avira antivir free) and make a complete scan, or download spybot-search and destroy.

I have a similur messege to that, except different letters after the WINDOWS thing

it only happens at start up, I just couldn't be bothered, as it didn't seem to harm anything...

thats what i was told by a friend (hes a nerd) and he helped me sort out a similar problem with my laptop as well. ive also been told to stay with AVG because otherwise i would be in trouble. �� im not that good with computers

but its exactly the same, so our problems could be solved the same way, i hope, but if not then really it doesn't bother me as it only happens at start up and once I click ok, its fine..for the whole day until I start up again

ok do a search and get rid of the trojans that come up

I use spyware doctor it picks up everything that AVG,Avira,Mcafee can't locate

that really doesn't sound like a trojan to me. if it an unnesesary dll it may not be listed online. I have a few of those things pop up every time I load my cpu
beause I used to use avg free and it got rid of them

well, its a virus and even you have AVG or etc. there are some virus that can penetrate the computer.

so better reformat your pc that's the best advice I can say to you.
and make a backup files first.
