It wasn't exactly clear at that time. If anyone says they could tell it was Obito based on that page alone, they're lying. It makes sense now because its obvious in retrospect, but back than it was not clear as to why it couldn't affect him. Obviously Kishi had Tobi use a very vague statement when he talked about the tech not working on him, so it could have been interpreted a lot of different ways.

yeah that's what i was trying to say, i never quite understood why it wouldn't work but after back tracking it makes sense and now is proof kishi wasn't trolling us..... should have made that more clear i guess
