Ill be helping you with this then. Lightning is not sharp per say, it is more destructive than anything, as you mentioned. Lightning is created by vibrating you chakra at high enough speeds where electricity is made. You're also right that it is fast, but it is not light speed, nor the speed of lightning in real life. It is simply the fastest of the five basic elements. Of course, it produces burns and numbing/paralyzation upon contact.

*i mould my chakra, accumulate it within my body and concentrate to my hand region and slam my hand on the ground then release the concentrated chakra, i direct the lightening through the ground towards your clone. The lightening shocks the clone and sends him flings it, it lands at a short distance from its initial position and the clone disappears with a "puff" sound.
