    Seven Swordsmen of the Mist





    ♆ Prologue ♆

    Ever since Zabuza was introduced in the manga, the Seven Swordsmen of the Bloody Mist have spoken to the imagination of many fanfic writers and swordbiters and it was inevitable that more than one RPer with a sword fetish had wild fantasies during long, lonely nights of obtaining one of them to smear butter on their sandwiches or to disembowel their enemies, whatever floats your sick boat the most. However because by now all the original swordsmen and their swords have been introduced and thus are tied to their respectful characters, I have made seven custom swords that can be hunted for your pleasure and potential orgasms.

    Each of these swords is either based on one of the five basic elements (katon - suiton - doton - raiton - fuuton) or normal chakra. All of them have several common abilities + their own own unique special skills. But be warned, these swords are not for the noob-hearted. Wielding one of these swords means that you will go down the 'Crimson Path' of the Swordsman.



    ♆ Basic Information ♆


    Obtaining one of the swords and becoming one of the Seven Swordsmen is quite easy: defeat or kill a person who currently wields one of them in an official battle and you can claim his sword as your own (go for killing, much more fun). Of course there are some requirements for having the privilege to actually try obtaining one of the swords in the first place and restrictions to wield it. Also a few additional notes need to be made to clear up certain situations to avoid confusion or people trying to abuse one loophole or another.


    Requirements:

    • The bio you use in the fight can't have any of the following KG: Byakugan, Sharingan or Kaguya.
    • The bio you use can be both a custom or a canon bio. Though any character bio that requires a test is not allowed like Nagato, Muu, a Jinchuriki, Minato etc.
    • You must be at least of S-Class rank.

    Battle Restrictions:

    • The fight must be done in the Battle Arena or in the Ninja World, however in the case of the latter this still have to be legit fights with the consent of both parties to fight for the sword and not some random third-rate fight. Fights that occur in social groups, Konoha Town etc. don't count.
    • The battles are one on one, mano a mano, so interference of anyone in any kind of way, especially in the Ninja World, is not allowed.
    • Custom jutsu's must be allowed in the battle as the sword itself is a custom, if a battle doesn't have this rule, it doesn't count.
    • The battles are to the death, saying "no killing" isn't allowed, though the victor can decide the fate of the loser.
    • At least one in three challenges has to be accepted by the owners. Not abiding by this rule and/or not actively using the sword will result in loosing it by default.

    Additional Notes:

    • You can only have one sword in your possession.
    • The swords can't be sealed away in things like scrolls or whatever in an attempt to bypass the rules.
    • In the case you succeed in obtaining a sword, the bio you used in the battle for it will have the sword. You can only transfer it to another bio of yours if it has the requirements for it and if you ask permission to Caliburn.
    • In the case one of the swords is without an owner due to one reason or another, it will go automatically to Caliburn and he will decide the next owner, though the way he decides this can vary. Often this is done via a tournament, but in any case don't start bugging him for it for your own personal gain.
    • You can still own a custom weapon of your own while having one of the swords, though you can't use them both in the same battle. When you are fighting for one of the swords, logically you can't use your CW. In other fights you clearly need to state which weapon you now exactly are using from the start of the battle to avoid confusion.


    ♆ The Seven Swords ♆


    "A century ago seven mighty swords were forged for the seven strongest swordsmen of the newly founded village of the Hidden Mist. Throughout the next hundred years the swords were past down from one generation to another, but eventually as time passed most of them got corrupted by their own bloodlust and left the village, becoming missing nins...eventually losing the swords to the world. It is at that time that Kirigakure pleaded with the Sage of the Abyssal Sword, Caliburn, the most famous swordsman and the most skilled smith of the ruling era. He was the only person who knew the true secrets of ore, iron, steel and metal, passed down only from one master to one pupil.

    And thus Caliburn heeded their call and made seven new swords, seven swords of imaginable power. Their names alone struck fear into the hearts of many man, their strength crushed their bones and flesh and their blood lusting aura's broke their spirits.

    But eventually also these Seven Swords were lost to the world as their presence drew mighty, often insane psychopathic warriors to them...once again the Seven Swords found their way to all the corners of the world, but this time they unleashed wave after wave of utter chaos upon NB as it never had been witnessed before..."

    Shared Abilities:

    • Each sword can only be wielded by its owner.
    • Each sword is indestructible.
    • Each sword has an effect on the handseals of the user, however under no circumstances those apply to CE or related elements (like Storm or Rain). Depending on the sword it only has an influence on one specific element or all 5 basic elements.
    • Regarding the handseals it also has to be mentioned that in the case of the 5 elemental swords it replaces the ability of the user using one element with less handseals, meaning that you still can only have one element with reduced handseals, though in this case it's reduced to zero instead of one.
    • Each sword has a set of custom jutsu's which the user learns by default when obtaining the sword. These jutsu's can't be taught to anyone thus only the user can use them. When the user looses his sword, he can't use the customs anymore.

    Haniyasu-Hime - Goddess of the Earth



    "The scourge of the Earth"



    Granted Abilities:

    • The user doesn't need to do any handseals for his doton jutsu's, instead he just needs to swing his whip.
    • Gives +15 damage to every doton jutsu of the user.
    • Doton jutsu's of the opponent loose -10 damage.
    • Raiton jutsu's of the user loose -10 damage.
    • Though it may seem like a whip, by infusing doton chakra in the blade the metal thread that keeps all the metal plates together instantly hardens, placing the first segments into a straight line. The segments at the top however coil to the left and then to right into some kind of a Celtic knot shape, eventually creating a unique looking hammer. When in this state it's strong enough to even dent normal metal. Twice per battle it can be used to destroy C-rank or below doton jutsu's.
    • Three times per battle the sword can negate the elemental weakness of one doton jutsu, making it so it doesn't have any basic elemental weakness. It has to be said when using this ability on the moment you use the doton jutsu.
    • The whip can excrete very tiny minerals, practically dust or sand. In close combat the user can just blow it into the face of his opponent to irritate his eyes or make him choke on dust. It can produce enough dust to hide the user, roughly covering a territory of 8 by 8 meters. In open fields the dust cloud is still very easy to see, however in places like deserts it could make the user blend in with the environment.

    Description: The user focuses doton-based chakra into Haniyasu-Hime and, when facing an enemy Doton Jutsu, swings the whip and hits the jutsu. The result is that the jutsu turns instantly to sand and looses all its power. 50% of the damage it would originally have done is sucked up into Haniyasu-Hime and is automatically added to the damage of the next doton jutsu the user will use (regardless of what type it is).

    ☛ Can only be used against B-rank and below doton jutsu's
    ☛ Does not get the default damage boost from the Goddess of the Earth
    ☛ Can only be used four times per battle

    (Doton: Tsuchi Bo-ringu) - Earth Style: Earth Bowling -
    Rank: A
    Type: Offensive
    Range: Short/Medium/Long
    Chakra Cost: 30
    Damage Points: 60
    Description: The user focuses doton-based chakra into Haniyasu-Hime and then makes a throwing motion with the whip. A round object, with the size of a basketbal, made out of earth, materializes at the tip of the whip as its swung, releasing itself at the apex of the motion, shooting out at great speeds. The ball has the unique ability to bounce off solid structures, so that it bounces extremely fast towards the opponent, using the initial momentum of the throw and the ground as a means to propel towards the target without slowing down. Though it seems a harmless ball it can easily bounce itself through larger, though weaker, jutsu's without much effort. Then at the command of the user it explodes releasing hundreds of small earth senbon in all directions, except towards the direction of where the user is standing.

    ☛ Does not get the damage boost from the Goddess of the Earth

    (Doton: Tsuchi Jaggurumatsuri) - Earth Style: Earth Juggling Festival -
    Rank: S
    Type: Defensive
    Range: Short
    Chakra Cost: 40 (+5 each turn)
    Damage Points: N/A
    Description: The user focuses doton-based chakra into Haniyasu-Hime and it releases pieces of earth and minerals that form three orbs around the user. These three orbs then keep hovering around the user. When the opponent attacks the user with a jutsu, one of the orbs can be sacrificied at the command of the user to stop the incoming attack. The orb then goes straight for the attack and neutralizes it completely without any visible damage.

    ☛ Can only be used once per battle
    ☛ One orb can stop up to A-rank jutsu's, two orbs can stop up to S-rank jutsu's and sacrificing all three orbs at the same time can stop one forbidden ranked jutsu. Normal elemental weaknesses are applied. Each orb can only be used once if that wasn't clear yet.
    ☛ This jutsu works as long as the user wants but he needs to pay +5 chakra each turn and when the three orbs have been sacrificied, the jutsu ends
    ☛ As long as this jutsu is active the user can't use any doton-based jutsu's

    Description: The user starts to focus doton-based chakra into Haniyasu-Hime. As a result the whip start to release earth, sand and dust, which goes into the air and forms an enormous fist (and a part of the lower arm) in the air that wields an earth-replica of Haniyasu-Hime. By moving your own arm, the replica will do exactly the same. For example when slamming your fist into the ground, the earth fist will do exactly the same on the opponent. The force that is released is so big that it even cracks the earth open on the place where the fist landed. The earthen arm can be materialized in more useful or constructive ways, grabbing a target or even lifting the user.

    ☛ Can only be used thrice per battle
    ☛ Does not get the default damage boost from the Goddess of the Earth

    (Doton: Totekutonikusu Hougeki) - Earth Style: Tectonic Bombardment -
    Rank: Forbidden
    Type: Offensive/Defensive
    Range: Short/Medium/Long
    Chakra Cost: 60
    Damage Points: 120 (-20)
    Description: The user focuses doton-based chakra into Haniyasu-Hime and slams it violently on the ground. As a result an incredibly long and three story high earth wall, with a trapezium shape, appears with several rows of large protrusions sticking out in different angles (the upper row is aimed higher than the lower rows), each one having the detailed face of a mole carved on it, sticking out on each side of the wall, creating one of the largest and strongest defences in the world and giving it an overall appearance of a large missile launcher. By slamming on the back of the wall with the whip, the 'rockets' are launched with incredible force towards the opponent in a barrage of large mole shaped pillars of earth leaving big holes in the wall. The force behind the pillars is so great that when they slam on the ground large craters are left on the battlefield. When a pillar crashes, the earth chunks fly around in all directions like shrapnel due to the force of the impact.

    ☛ Can only be used once per battle
    ☛ Does not get the default damage boost from the Goddess of the Earth
    ☛ The user takes -20 damage due to the extreme force of the earth
    ☛ The user can't use any doton-based jutsu's the next two turns
    ☛ The user can't use any forbidden jutsu's the same turn this jutsu is used.

    Shine-Tsu-Hiko - God of the Wind



    "Surfer of the Rapid Winds"



    Granted Abilities:

    • The user doesn't need to do any handseals for his fuuton jutsu's, instead he just needs to swing his sword.
    • Gives +15 damage to every fuuton jutsu of the user.
    • Fuuton jutsu's of the opponent loose -10 damage.
    • Katon jutsu's of the user loose -10 damage.
    • By focusing fuuton chakra in the blade, a small hurricane of slicing winds appears around the blade of the sword, increasing its length a bit. The winds can cause severe wounds, but due to its rotational force it actually can redirect small objects. For instance a kunai that is thrown at you can be redirected 180° by rotating around the sword. Twice per battle it can be used to destroy C-rank or below fuuton jutsu's.
    • Three times per battle the sword can negate the elemental weakness of one fuuton jutsu, making it so it doesn't have any basic elemental weakness. It has to be said when using this ability on the moment you use the fuuton jutsu.
    • The sword gives the user some levitational abilities (not flying). This means for instance that when the user would fall from extreme hights, he could just land normally on the ground without injuries. It allows the opposite as well, namely that the user can easily reach great heights by jumping and he can surf slowly on air currents (this can't be used to dodge direct attacks).

    Description: The user focuses fuuton chakra into Shine-Tsu-Hiko and then thrusts the sword forwards. A highly condensed sword of quick-spinning, ferociously slicing fuuton chakra is then released that reaches up to long range, stabbing everything it comes across (till now only the length is abnormal as it's still as wide as a normal sword). After that the blade start suddenly expanding, creating a massive, horizontal hurricane that cuts everything it touches. The hurricane starts to slice the surface of the battlefield into dust, transforming the center of it into a bowl-shaped empty wasteland. All that dust then is taken up by the hurricane, making it even more lethal. Finally the user can sweep the hurricane once more by swinging Shine-Tsu-Hiko into that direction. For instance by swinging it to the left, it will move to the left, by swinging it upwards it will move upwards etc.

    ☛ Can only be used once per battle
    ☛ Does not get the default damage boost from the God of the Wind
    ☛ The user takes -20 damage due to the extreme force of the wind
    ☛ The user can't use any fuuton-based jutsu's the next two turns

    Futsu-Nushi-No-Kami - God of Lightning



    "Zeus' toothpick"



    Granted Abilities:

    • The user doesn't need to do any handseals for his raiton jutsu's, instead he just needs to swing his spear.
    • Gives +15 damage to every raiton jutsu of the user.
    • Raiton jutsu's of the opponent loose -10 damage.
    • Fuuton jutsu's of the user loose -10 damage.
    • By focusing raiton chakra into the spear, it gets completely clad in lightning, transforming it into a lightning scythe, shocking everything it touches (except the wielder) and making the spear strong enough to even pierce boulders, trees and even normal metal. Twice per battle it can be used to destroy C-rank or below raiton jutsu's.
    • Three times per battle the sword can negate the elemental weakness of one raiton jutsu, making it so it doesn't have any basic elemental weakness. It has to be said when using this ability on the moment you use the raiton jutsu.
    • The head of the spear can be removed from the shaft, creating some kind of shuriken and a bo staff. A more practical use is of this ability is that the spearhead can be shot from the shaft, but remains linked to it by a string of raiton chakra. This way it can be used as an extra long flail, but also in a similar way to how the Lightning Chain jutsu works.

    (Raiton: Raijin Shinwa Gadian) - Lightning Style: Lightning God's Mythical Guardian -
    Rank: Forbidden
    Type: Offensive
    Range: Medium/Long
    Chakra Cost: 60
    Damaga Points: 120 (-20)
    Description: The user impales Futsu-Nushi-No-Kami into the ground and then focuses raiton chakra into it. The spear then releases all the chakra underground, forming it into a large mythical beast that has the body of a dragon, but the head of a shark with a sword sticking out of its nose. The lightning beast remains under the surface, with exception of its dorsal fin, which sticks out 10 meters above the surface and is around 1.5 meters wide. When the user then pulls the spear out of the ground, the beast blasts of towards its target, travelling underground, except his dorsal fin which remains viewable on the surface and cuts through the earth as it moves forwards. When it reaches its target, it jumps out of the earth, biting and stabbing the opponent. On that moment the beast releases all its energy, causing it to explode in a violent way and creating a large sphere of lightning (which appears above ground as a lightning dome), that eventually leaves behind a bowl shaped crater. On the command of the user it's possible to make the beast explode sooner, even if it hasn't attacked the opponent yet.

    ☛ Can only be used once per battle
    ☛ Does not get the default damage boost from the God of Lightning

    Granted Abilities:

    • The user doesn't need to do any handseals for his katon jutsu's, instead he just needs to swing his daggers.
    • Gives +15 damage to every katon jutsu of the user.
    • Katon jutsu's of the opponent loose -10 damage.
    • Suiton jutsu's of the user loose -10 damage.
    • Both daggers can be infused with katon-based chakra. As a result the daggers emit fire (which don't hurt the wielder) that shape the two daggers into two sabres made out of flames that are strong enough to even melt normal metal and the like. Twice per battle it can be used to destroy C-rank or below katon jutsu's.
    • Three times per battle the sword can negate the elemental weakness of one katon jutsu, making it so it doesn't have any basic elemental weakness. It has to be said when using this ability on the moment you use the katon jutsu.
    • The pommels of the two daggers can be attached to each other, so that they the weapon gains a crescent shape, forming the limbs of a crossbow. All the other parts of the crossbow, the stock and string, are made out of fire. Also at the front of the crossbow, where normally the bolts are released, a short blade made out of fire is sticking out. This way the entire weapon can be used as a sword and a shield, however it can also use the blade at the front as ammo and fire it as a fire kunai.

The ball has the unique ability to bounce off solid structures, so that it bounces extremely fast towards the opponent, using the initial momentum of the throw and the ground as a means to propel towards the target without slowing down. Though it seems a harmless ball it can easily bounce itself through larger, though weaker, jutsu's without much effort. Then at the command of the user it explodes releasing hundreds of small fire senbon in all directions, except towards the direction of where the user is standing.

The orb then goes straight for the attack and neutralizes it completely without any visible damage.

    ☛ Can only be used once per battle
    ☛ One orb can stop up to A-rank jutsu's, two orbs can stop up to S-rank jutsu's and sacrificing all three orbs at the same time can stop one forbidden ranked jutsu. Normal elemental weaknesses are applied. Each orb can only be used once if that wasn't clear yet.

By moving your own arm, the replica will do exactly the same. For example when slamming your fist into the ground, the earth fist will do exactly the same on the opponent. The force that is released is so big that it even cracks the earth open on the place where the fist landed. The fire arm can be materialized in more useful or constructive ways, grabbing a target or even lifting the user.

    (Katon: Kazan Guriddo) - Fire Style: Volcanic Grid -
    Rank: Forbidden
    Type: Offensive
    Range: Short/Medium/Long

    Damage Points: 120 (-20)
    Description: The user impales the two daggers Kagutsuchi into the ground side by side, making the earth around immediately melt, and starts to focus an enormous amount of katon-based chakra through them below the surface, causing a straight upwards flame to appear in front of the user. Two smaller flames then appear from under the earth where Kagutschi stabbed the surface, which then start traveling towards the opponent, leaving a line fire behind. After a while new lines of fire start to separate from the main branch to the left and to the right, always in a 90° angle, on which turn new branches again start to appear into 90° angles to the left and/or right. The final result is that a grid made out of flames has appeared. Most of the katon chakra is still concentrated below the surface, which after the grid is complete starts to go upwards, making the grid and earth swell up, eventually melting the surface and erupting along the lines of the grid, causing a large upwards column of fire to appear in a grid formation. After the attack is finished a crater is left with molten rocks and a burned pattern of a grid.

    Granted Abilities:

    • The user doesn't need to do any handseals for his suiton jutsu's, instead he just needs to swing his sword.
    • Gives +15 damage to every suiton jutsu of the user.
    • Suiton jutsu's of the opponent loose -10 damage.
    • Doton jutsu's of the user loose -10 damage.
    • The sword can be infused with suiton-based chakra. As a result a very thin layer of water flows around the blade of the sword. This increases the cutting power of the sword and the water can extend, increasing both the length and width of the sword. Also when another sword strikes on it, it can slip of the blade creating a chance to strike the opponent. Twice per battle it can be used to destroy C-rank or below suiton jutsu's.
    • Three times per battle the sword can negate the elemental weakness of one suiton jutsu, making it so it doesn't have any basic elemental weakness. It has to be said when using this ability on the moment you use the suiton jutsu.
    • The user doesn't need an already existing water source to use water jutsu's as the swords can get enough water out of the air. Also the blade can release a very thick Hidden Mist Jutsu that covers the entire battlefield.

By swinging the sword forwards an enormous tidal wave, both wide and high, rushes towards the opponent. However in the front part of the wave you can see the heads and front legs of hundreds galloping horses rushing towards to opponent to crush him. The wave is so strong it works like a shovel on the earth, ripping large chunks from the surface and taking up boulders, making it so that the opponent not only gets hit by the water pressure, but also by everything it picked up along the way. The final result is that the battlefield in front of the user has been changed into a muddy soaked field with a layer of water over it.

    ☛ Does not get the default damage boost from the Goddess of Water

    • It allows the user to preform all his handseals for basic elemental ninjutsu at a faster rate.
    • It can sense chakra and as a result it can locate the opponent with pinpoint accuracy. It can even sense the different type's of chakra (doton, suiton, etc.) and the ranks of jutsu's that are used.
    • By focusing chakra in the blade of the sword, the length of it can be increased even more and it gets shaped into a bisento. Even though it can't cut through metal, it can go through stuff like trees and rocks. Two times per battle it can destroy any C-rank and below basic elemental jutsu's.
    • Three times per battle the user can call an element and the opponent can't use any jutsu's of that element in his next turn (the user can only activate this at the end of his turn).
    • A-rank and below genjutsu does not work on the user.
    • Once per battle the user can release a white bright light from the sword by focusing chakra into it. This light does not hurt your eyes, but is of the nature that it simply makes the entire battlefield look like a white void for one turn, hence whether you wear sunglasses or not is irrelevant.

For instance by aiming the bolt at the sky, but placing the plate above it, it can be redirected back to the ground.

    Description: The user focuses an incredible amount of chakra into Kariteseirei and holds the sword in front of him. The user then slams the palm of his hand against the side of blade, which creates an enormous shockwave of chakra throughout the entire battlefield. It doesn't harm the opponent, however it can destroy any kind of jutsu, no matter the rank or element. When the shockwave collides with an opponents jutsu, it just distorts the chakra in the jutsu making it disperse harmlessly.

    ☛ Can only be used once per battle
    ☛ The user takes -30 damage due to the enormous chakra-drain
    ☛ Kariteseirei can't sense any chakra for 3 turns

    • Three times per battle the user can call a rank and the opponent can't use any jutsu's of that rank in his next turn (the user can only activate this at the end of his turn).

    Description: The user focuses a large amount of his chakra into Sanada Yukimura. This chakra is released from the blades in a shockwave which distort one of the opponents offensive jutsu. The result is that the user can lower the strength of the incoming jutsu, with other words the rank of it. For example he can change an S-rank into a jutsu with the strenght of a B-rank.
    This can be done while the user himself is doing an elemental jutsu at the same time as the sword does the most work, though it still counts as one of the three moves per turn.

    ☛ Can only be used once per battle
    ☛ The user takes -30 damage due to enormous chakra-drain
