You never know with Kishi,Kakashi ones stated that the Uchiha Sharigan came from the Hyuga in the Chuning exam,so Kishi needs to elaborate on that someday,because stating it like that can give the Impression of a Mother of Father passing down a new or different gene to a new generation. Both Sons First and Second had the same Father the SO6P,But we do not know if they had the same Mother. Having different Mothers could be a possibility. We just don't know.

OK, think of Uchiha being red and Senju being blue. When you combine the two, you get purple, which is Rikudou Sennin.

However, if you combine colors similar to red and blue, you won't get purple, just a mess.

ahhh but a major hole in the uchiha and senju combo i like to point out, is in one of kishis first databooks (just as much fact as the manga) it was stated that the sharingan (and the uchiha with it) mutated from the byakuugan meaning that based on his earlier statement, the byakuugan is more closely related to the rinnegan than the sharingan. He may have just forgot once he went all out for sasuke being the bad guy in series one since if you recall, during the tournament both sasuke and neji were equally setup to become the major antagonist for naruto. Sasuke with his emo my family died so i have tons of angst story, and neji with his my family is superior to all of you so we should run the world. However im betting that after those early manga issues fans gravitated more toward sasuke so he kicked neji aside and never looked back. Of course i always wondered if something different would happen if an uchiha and an uzumaki mixed since technically both are diverted branches of the original families and not the actual full blood clans.
