Sudden Realization

I was randomly reading through Naruto chapters today and stumbled upon something rather interesting.

In chapter 139 Itachi Uchiha is introduced.

Ironically, this statement is made by Hiruzen regarding Konoha shinobi. (In the same chapter)

This thread or general discovery has most likely been discussed. If it has please let me know.

You couldn't tell that the chapter Itachi Uchiha was introduced Hiruzen stated that Konoha shinobi all have a strong sense of protection? This based on further information throughout plot would indicate that this would in fact be related to Sasuke? Which then means that it was hinted at that Itachi did his acts through a reasonable sense of justice and morality?

what how did u come to the conclusion the 3rd hokage was really refering to sasuke. Sasuke at this point was quite loyal to konoha as he thought itachi was criminal for killing the uchiha clan off.

I like it alot when kishi does foreshadowing, but I honestly don't see it from those 2 pages u quoted.

I understand that it was foreshadowing but I don't really see why you are pointing this out, as it has been known that Itachi had his village in mind all a long for, well, a while. Are you just doing this to say "Aha, here is something you guys didn't notice WAYYYY BACK"?

You still aren't able to realize that this is chapter 139 when Itachi was first introduced? He had no relevance towards the plot structure at this current point in time.

Hiruzen wasn't referring to Sasuke directly. He was rather referring to Konoha shinobi. Ironically, Itachi was introduced in this chapter (139). I thought it was interesting that so early in the series Kishimoto planned that Itachi would be introduced a villain and would later develop into the characterization of an anti-villain or anti-hero.
