Why is every uchiha emotional and messed up in the Head. Itachi was probably the most normal one out of them all but he is still messed up. Is it a trait that they inherit from the first son or is it becuase to gain more power, you need to do the unthinkable and kill ur friend/family member.

Well...the Uchiha clan is centered around the sharingan, and to power up the sharingan, it requires some pretty messed up stuff to be done. So I would assume that fact and the idea that many Uchihas are "emotional and messed up in the head" is somewhat linked to that. Plus, the fact that the actions of some people in the clan effected others negatively. Like Itachi was the elder son but what he did messed Sasuke up too. Yeah its all that spreading of hatred, and the curse.

Like Obito said, it is a curse called HATRED that was passed down from the elder son to the Uchihas. However they are not all messed up, they are all simply unhappy with their fate of coming in second to the Senju. There are people who are not insane like Shisui, Kagami and Mikoto.

Agreed all uchiha planned attack the leaf. its seem only itachi and shisui who are not like them. Madara are definitely greed and power hungry. obito is mess up. sasuke mess up too (nothing to do with itachi, Sasuke is a big boy, he need to control with his feelin NO EXCUSE.) other uchiha were trying to attack leaf village.
