Itachi is able to see trough Genjutsu which is cast on himself right away...

2nd Mizukage's Genjutsu is using the surroundings... all those ninja only figured that out because he told them. And even when they knew about it they still had no idea how to counter it.

My guess is that ''maybe'' Itachi can see trough it. But he will not be able to see where the real Mizukage is at..

this is by far one of the strongest Genjutsu's we saw so far IMO

itachi can see 2nd mizukage's chakra instead of 2nd mizukage's body.
