rock lee question

Remember in part 1, he would wear ankle weights.and once taken off he would move so fast that even kakashi had trouble keeping up. Now in part 2 lee's outfit has not changed that much. Question is does he still were the weights? Or does it look like that for cosmetic looks only

Pretty sure he still wears them, though the weight has probably been increased a good deal. ;-; Wish he would at least pop up more now, I wanna see what he can do

No he don't were them because they are used to increase the speed of rock lee n lee's current speed is equal to the speed when he wore them n maybe he still using heavier plates for training but definately not in war or on any mission because he don't get time to remove them at time like this n basically he can control his speed n gates very well

Lee should be so much stronger than he currently is. Kishi seems to be saying either "your parents/your birth right/Being born a genius is what matters and no matter how hard you work you'll never catch people with these traits"

Since lee works far harder than Anyone in naruto's group and comes up with little to nothing to show for it.
