Re: Anime > Manga
The shippuden animation is awful. I've always preferred manga as I like to add my own interpretation. I guess its just personal preference.

Re: Anime > Manga
i prefer the anime but the manga is so far ahead i i cant wait to know what happens next, and once i read the manga the anime becomes redondent except for the fight scenes.

A large amount of the planet's population are also idiots.
I like books better than movies because a book allows you to use your imagination more and allows you to use reasoning and logic to interpret some things how you see it, which makes it more fun. Oh listen to me, talking about things you can't relate to.

Re: Anime > Manga
If the anime was ahead of the mange, I probably wouldn't read the manga.
Since the Manga is ahead of the Anime, I still watch the Anime (even though I know what is going to happen next).
So I agree, Anime>Manga.
I do love the artwork in the manga though.

That's honestly just a matter of opinion. If you have enough imagination, you can get more of a thrill out of reading a book than watching a movie. It also depends on the book/movie itself
An example of this for me was Eragon. I loved the books, but loathed the movie.

Re: Anime > Manga
I like Manga infinitely more than the anime. Perhaps I am a books person, and hence don't need to explicitly see a moving picture to form an opinion. The fillers and bad animations usually kill the anime for me, the only point where the anime trumps the manga are the voice overs. Usually a voice is left to the figment of ones imagination, but in the anime you can feel the life breathed into the character. Well, this is what I feel anyway.

Re: Anime > Manga
I prefer anime, especially in action filled scenes because it's a bit difficult for me to follow what's going on in the manga sometimes.

Re: Anime > Manga
One of the cool things I liked about the anime is its soundtrack.. it can easily set the mood. The manga has great parts though. Just a few panels that I like:
Sasuke
Orochimaru
Itachi
Tobi(Obito):

Re: Anime > Manga
manga is so much better than anime like there have been times the manga has impressed me more than the anime. one example kcm naruto punching kisame in the manga it was like from kisame running away to naruto slamming kisame with so much speed i had to go back a couple of times because it was so amazing then the anime came around and by god was i excited for this then it happen kisame running away me getting my hopes up then they decide to show a scene showing a bit of narutos chakra intead of naruto punching kisame straight away and it didnt have that badass feeling that the manga gave me.
i just love manga more i could probably be due to my love of art and ink drawings anime is great but manga is so much better
also manga has a great ability to bring emotions out of you in away an anime cant as an anime has music and sound to do this but manga it is al down to the drawings and the ability of the writer i remember reading one piece when ace died and luffys face man that was so sad and this from a manga.

Re: Anime > Manga
Two things that the anime does that the manga can't are as follows:
1. Extend the fight scenes sometimes.
2. The characters are in motion.
Still even so, I prefer the manga.

its kinda funny when i read a good manga like naruto and one piece i get so wrapped up in the manga that it actually feels like its in motion so to me if a manga is good then it will have some form of motion well thats just me

Re: Anime > Manga
To answer your question, i watch/read both but ive just stopped with anime because of one word, fillers...its the whole reason i gave up on watching the anime lately. It just feels like they're stalling, if they're gonna make fillers then why not at least associate them with the anime/manga? The 7 swordsman fillers were alright but i stopped watching after this "power" nonsense
