How was everyones New Years/ what did you do?

Mine was rather eventful. The night started off slowly as there were no real prospects for plans as far as parties go. New Years was looking like a letdown despite the irrational amount of alcohol we had procured from a friends brother the night before.
Then we got a call from a kid from our school rival saying that a friend of his was throwing a party. In his dad's office building. Despite the fact that our two schools despise each other, at this point in my life, being a junior in high school, its all about the story and going to a party in an abandoned office building was pretty unheard of to me and all my friends. We arrive to find all the doors lock as they require what im assuming was a key-card to get in.
We called the kid who was supposed to let us in and we open a back door to find a kid questioning us as to who we are/ who told us to come. We told him it was a kid from his school and he proceeds to go find the kid whos dad owns the building to see if its okay if we come in. When he sees he doesnt know us, he immediately tells us to leave saying hes not letting any one in who he doesnt know.
Realizing its kind of over stepping our boundaries trying to convince him further, i accept this and begin to leave. My friend on the other hand, has a genius suggestion: Rock paper scissors on a chance into the party. Im not kidding. The kid was either really cool, or really drunk or a mixture of both because to my surprise, he agreed. A rock beating a scissors later and were in.
It was pretty much an average party just in an office building. Beer pong with a bottle cap,(guess they didnt have ping-pong balls, i dont know) a room donned as the puke lair with duct tape, multiple rooms smelling like bad decision-making, and many stumbling, belligerent people. I knew very few people there and proceeded to get very drunk and socialize as much as you possibly can with kids you dont know that hate everything about your school.
No romantic encounters since the girl im dating was in Maryland for New Years so nothing as far as that is concerned unfortunately. We are there for 4 hours and everything is going fine until, the kid that invited us over in the first place, finds it to be a good idea to punch a hole in a wall. 10 or so of the kids there including the kid who threw the party, proceed to chase the kid out of building in the hopes of kicking his ass.
This is out cue to leave. As we are leaving, one of the kids coming back decides hes going to be big around all his friends and tell us to get the **** out because Domonic (kid who punched a hole in the wall) is our friend. He wasnt be particularly polite, and it was obvious he was only talking to us because he had about 15 of his friends around.
Being a little inebriated myself, i tell him to drop the tough-guy act and that we were already leaving so he can chill out. Insert a few ****s wherever necessary. This ***** continues to talk shit to us as we are leavingso he can feel better about whatever insecurity he has in his life. Ive had enough at this point and tell him to leave his little group of friends and come fight me by himself. My friends realize we are at a different schools party, and that a 6 on 15+ fight doesnt loook good for us. They are dragging me away as the ***** kid keeps running his mouth. We get out of there no problem and pass out at a friends house.
So basically a few comments short of a street brawl to top off a pretty crazy night. Just wanted to share a story although i know many people will probably think im trying to be an internet bad-ass. Curious to hear your stories as well

Me and like 10 of my friends went to a kid's mom's office apartment. Partied there until like 5 am when I got back home.

Was pretty cool. I got to try bartending at my dad's cafe and that was pretty amusing. Drunk guys trying to impress me with card tricks are always fun

My whole new years consisted of me staying at home doing almost nothing. I play Borderlands 2 and worked on my garden. Nothing too special, but I think it was a nice way to start off the year. lol

Got drunk, smoked some weed, didn't go to work the next day so partied late...watching Weeds on Netflix (yes, by myself . I need a girlfriend...>.> fixing that soon).

Me and some friends went to another friends house which was vacant, and basically had fun, beer pong, eating chips, drinking red whine like some hobos and smoking illegal substances. It was cool.
