sharingan dosent have nothing with immortality its uchihas chakra that are diffrent... and madara was born with special chakra thats why he is still alive you should read manga....EMS just gives him more power and he can use MS without limits...

That certainly is a hint on what the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan's Doujutsu could be.

Perhaps with the new form beyond the Eternal Mangekyou, he'll get the Doujutsu "Izanami"? As here you pointed out Izanagi "washed his face after escaping the underworld"; the underworld for Madara was darkness. So it make sense that by in a sense "washing away the darkness" would grant him Izanagi. Probably like how he's using the demonic statue to gain this higher form of the Sharingan which should grant him Izanami.

Apparently not. Itachi said in that same page that simply getting another's eyes didn't equate to gaining the Doujutsu.

He died in battle according to the third databook.
