Dexter is a white male (with a tan) with light brown hair and green eyes. He's seen as an attractive man with a perfected face, with his hair altering based on the passage of time. There are also a few beauty marks here and there. Dexter is extremely fit. Just between his body and arm on his left side is a long scar, that he received as a child...as well as another scar on the shoulder of his right arm. Dexter maintains routine exercise, through jogging and various other activities. Keeping himself in shape is important for two reasons: one, to maintain his face personality for everyone around him as an everyday guy. The second reason is to enable him to overpower most of his victims, which are otherwise weaker than himself. He has to do a lot of dragging, lifting, and even body part moving when killing so it's necessary to have a structured athletic physique, especially if he needs to chase someone.

Dexter considers himself emotionally divorced from the rest of humanity; he refers to 'humans' as if he is not one himself. He makes frequent references to an internal feeling of emptiness and says he kills to feel alive. He claims to have no feelings or conscience, and that all of his emotional responses are part of a well-rehearsed act to conceal his true nature. He has no interest in romance or sex. Because of Dexter’s well-rehearsed act, he appears normal to the majority of the people that meet and interact with him. On occasion Dexter may let his guard down and some people pick up on the fact that he isn't ordinary. One person in particular was James Doakes. He noticed one time that Dexter was not normal, he would say to Dexter “Quit the act, motherf*cker. You’re not normal, you glide round like a f*cking lizard on ice. What are you hiding Morgan.”

The truth is, Dexter is hiding something. Since childhood, he has felt homicidal urges directed by an inner voice he calls ‘The Dark Passenger’; when that voice cannot be ignored, he ‘lets the Dark Passenger do the driving.’ Though, he is not a monster killing innocent people; he abides by a moral code taught to him by his adoptive father, Harry Morgan, in which he only allows himself to kill people who are themselves murderers. Most animals pick up on the fact that Dexter isn’t normal, he once owned a pet that barked and growled at him until he was forced to get rid of it and a turtle that hid from him in its shell until it died of starvation. Dexter himself states, "Animals don't like me. Especially dogs. I don't think they approve of what I sometimes do to their masters."

Despite his dark passenger, he does love and he is loyal. In particular he likes Children, finding them to be much more interesting than their parents; accordingly, he treats victims who prey on children with particular wrath. He also loves family and friends and acknowledges loyalty, particularly to his late adoptive father, saying, "If I were capable of love, how I would have loved Harry." He is also very fond of his sister and will not let anyone harm her. Dexter states that "I don't have feelings about anything, but if I could have feelings at all, I'd have them for Deb."

Background Info.
History:

Early life.

Dexter was born Dexter Moser, a couple years after his brother, Brian Moser. Their parents were Laura Moser and Joseph Driscoll. They lived in the village hidden in the rocks, Iwagakure. Their house was medium sized and they were generally happy throughout their infant life. The earliest known event in Dexter's life were the times he spent at his mother's house roughly between the ages of 2 and 3, often playing hide and seek with her as well as his big brother that he called ‘Biney’, because he was unable to actually pronounce "Brian".

One afternoon Laura Moser, her two sons Dexter and Brian. Laura was in trouble when three rouge ninja came up to her with her two sons with her, threatened to hurt Dexter and Brain if she didn't go with them, they took her and her sons to an isolated area the three rouge ninjas plan was to kill her, cause they just wanted too, so they cut her into pieces, she screamed and cried as they cut into her, she turned to give a final smile to Dexter. She said to close his eyes, not to look and that she loved him, killing Laura in front of both of her sons with no remorse. Dexter watched as the ninjas sliced her open.

"Close your eyes, Dexter...don't look. Mommy loves you Dexter."

Brothers Separation.

Harry Morgan a family friend off Laura Moser, decided to adopt the two children and raise them as his own. For unknown reasons he was not allowed to adopt Brain. Instead he was only allowed to adopt Dexter, meaning that he had separated the two brothers and that they may never see each other again. Dexter was brought into Harry’s family, perhaps because of guilt or maybe because of Harry’s sense of duty, though one way or another he ended up loving Dexter like he was his own child and Dexter felt the same feeling towards Harry and his new sister Deb. Harry and his family moved away from Iwagakure, and moved to Konoha the village hidden in the leaves to get away and start fresh for Dexter's sake.

Although Dexter didn’t fit in to human life (because he is ‘reborn’), he somehow managed to become accustomed to his new home and surroundings. Marine officer and adoptive farther Harry taught Dexter how to fight, how to find the ‘bad guys’ and how to survive; little did he know at the time, but these skills will help him when killing his victims.

This event contributed into changing Dexter and Brian for good. They no longer had their innocence, they were no longer ordinary and their life had been damaged for good. Dexter refers to the massacre to which they witnessed, the day they were ‘reborn’; Dexter and Brian sat drenched in a pool of their mother's blood. It was two days until the two boys were found. It was Harry Morgan who found and pulled them out of the isolated area, with the look of shock and horror. A happy childhood ended in tragedy, to create two boys who would grow up to be killers.

First Signs of a Killer

Dexter started to show signs that he was not ordinary and his ‘dark passenger’ would take control in his teens. He would kill animals and bury them. He didn't know, but Harry knew about this and would later confront him. One day while on the family boat, Harry Morgan asks his son if he's different. Dexter doesn't know what that means at first, but learns soon that Harry found out about the neighbor's dog ‘Buddy’, who Dexter had buried along with several other small animals. Dexter tells his father that "He was a noisy little creep who barked so much that it kept his ill mother Doris Morgan up all night."

Harry looked at him and said there were a lot more bones there instead of just Buddy's, something that Dexter looks down at the boat's floor feeling ashamed. Harry then asks him if he ever wanted to kill something bigger than a dog, like a person. Dexter tells Harry that he has had the urge to kill a person, just no one in particular. When asked why he hasn't tried, Dexter says that he thought his father and mother wouldn't like it. Harry becomes a little teary eyed and hugs his son, likely at this point in time wanting to shield him from ever needing to kill someone. This would of course change later in his life as he witnessed the loss of so much life and the freedom of murderers...

The code.

In Dexter’s late teens he still had the urge to kill and the urge was getting stronger and stronger and stronger. Harry decided that there was only one way to deal with this. He loved his son too much to let him be caught by the police and he knew that one-day, despite all effort that Dexter would kill and so he invented ‘The Code’. The code allowed Dexter to kill certain types of people. The people that Dexter could kill were Pirates who had slipped through the cracks of justice, dirty marines and plain old killers. The code made it so that Dexter would have to be absolutely sure that the person he indented to kill ‘deserved’ it.

“Son, there are ninjas out there who do really bad things. Terrible ninjas. And the good ninjas can't stop them all. Do you understand what I'm saying?” Said Harry.

“You're saying... they deserve it.” Teenage Dexter replied.

The code allowed Dexter to kill and at the same time it would prevent harm to innocent people. Dexter pledged that he would abide by the code and would never hurt an innocent person. Harry then went on to tell Dexter how to kill, without being caught. It involved researching potential victims, planning out the murders, committing murder and disposing of the body. Harry had a knack for knowing this.

As an adult.

Dexter grew up and followed the code for his life, and he trained in many elements to get them under his belt, along with ninjutsu, genjutsu and some taijutsu. One day Dexter was messing around with fire and earth elements and all of sudden made this weird sliver/black looking element, Dexter had heard about this it was called Steel Release and it's rather hard to come by, he wanted to learn all about and more about this element so he left his house in Konoha to go find someone who was willing to teach it...
