Takasugi has purple eyes and short black hair with shades of purple. He ties a white bandage around his forehead. He is tall, measuring up to 6'3". He always has a slim and shinny pipe hanging on his lips which he smokes, regularly. He has a long katana which he carries on his left hip, held by a purple waistband. He wears a variety of clothing depending on his mood. He always wears a strawhat. He usually wears a purple robe with golden butterflies imprinted around it, and golden fringes at all edges. He also wears a white robe with black fringes and a black waistband. Or a black robe with brown fringes and black waistband. Whenever he wears a robe, he wears a pair of sandals. He also, at times, wears a purple shirt, black trousers, purple jacket with black collar, pocket and edges; and a black shoe.

Personality[/b]

As a Samurai, he is a little bit drawn back from the crowd, resorting to his wholesome and upbuilding thoughts for spiritual enlightenment. He meditates regular, improving his power of reasoning and better equipping him for the day-to-day trials of life. As a Samurai, he maintains an excellent degree of bushido

and this has helped him to talk in a way that only a few that have his kind of goal understand. He is used to being underestimated by an opponent and always returns a smile, never losing his cool. He has developed a keen hatred for power hungry individuals. He believes in the power of the blade he wields and as such, is able to engage in a battle with any kind or level of ninja or samurai.

Background Information

History:

Shinsuke Takasugi was born in the Land of Lightning, Kumogakure. His life had always revolved around himself because he barely remembered anything about his parents; just their laughs, their smiles, their faces and ofcourse, their death which frequently overshadowed the other memories. When he was three years old, the Third Great Ninja War broke out, and in a bid to protect him while escape to a neighbouring country, his parents where brutally killed by ninjas. With no chance of survival, Shinsuke waited to be killed also, only to be rescued by a female ninja. In the blackness of the night, her eyes glowed red; her great skill enabled her to kill the other ninjas in no time. More were coming and she took him by the arm and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Already crying, Shinsuke asked her why she had saved him. She said that the courage with which he had faced death was what moved her to do so. They stayed together until the war was over, and on countless occasions she had saved his life. She taught him everything there was to know about ninjas and their abilities and tricks. Then he one day asked her why the world was driven by such hatred and rivalry. She didn't know the answer but told him that not all lived like ninjas. These people were called Samurais. He wanted to join them immediately and so she began teaching him Taijutsu. Due to her sharingan, the training was very tidious. She made his stress himself to be able to keep up with her movements, and flow with her rhythm and pace. When they completed the training, she gave him a sword, many clothes, many ninja basic tools and a pipe(she smoked too). Painfully, they parted ways after 12 years and he knows he will meet her again, someday. And oh! Her name is Nemo.. .

After 1 year of travel, Shinsuke arrived at the Land of Iron where he met a man well vast in phylosophy; a Samurai. They expressed their thoughts and shared ideas. Whatever word the man uttered was worthy of remembrance. Shinsuke immediately told him about his dream to become a Samurai and asked where he could apply. Only then did Shinsuke realize that he had been speaking with General Nirvana, Leader of the Samurais; he had heard amazing stories and so, he was more than impressed. He immediately pledged his allegiance to the Samurais. Shinsuke has taken the first step towards his path just as Nirvana had adviced him, saying:

. . . it is impossible to walk the same path as someone else you must walk your own path to enlightenment my friend.

The journey has only just begun . . .

Being trained by a 3T sharingan specialist, Shinsuke is able to move in a sleek way during combat, twisting, manipulating and bending body parts in a fast manner so as to dodge minor punches and kicks and at the same time deliver attacks.

Shinsuke's arsenal includes:
A long katana on his left hip, a slim shinny smoke pipe on his lips, two tantos on both hands underneath the sleeve of his robe that can be revealed at will(this is similar to the way Tendo Pain withdraws a chakra rod from underneath either of his sleeves), kunais and shurikens(explosive and normal), flash bombs, wire, Wakizashi, Ganba- War Fan, Yumi - Long Bow, Naginata - Spear.
