[Discussion] Do you even like your family?

I'm pretty alright with mine. I've known a lot of people who have numerous troubles with there family life and I myself have dealt with pointless crap. But my question is: Do you even enjoy being around with your family? Do you at least talk to your parents?

We may not get the support never to motivate ourselves to do our best but our parents is all we got to survive. Unless you have someone else to look up to its gonna be hard. To put it bluntly lot of my friends who had trouble dealing with family members went to the Navy. Eh.

Only problem I have is them saying Anime is the devil. One time my dad took my iPod and he download a manga called Satan 666 and I spent 30 min saying it was not mine. And it ended pretty much...not good? Ah well.

I'm pretty okay with my family. My brother is also addicted to manga, like me. My parents think that's pretty okay, at least we aren't bums. And I have a good relation with all of them

I hate/like my Mum, Love my Dad, my siblings are complete ***s I pretty much completely hate them. My mum discourages me and is a total *****, I quote " I wish I had an abortion", however she can be decent at times.

I believe things play out quite harmoniously in my family. I've set boundaries and they respect them well enough for me not to start pointing out all of their problems in return.
It has been hectic every now and then, but now we're in a period of greater tolerance I would say.
I talk to them, no big deal there, but we aren't really chummy with one another to put it that way. Take anime/manga, all they know, I think, is that it is a type of comic much like comics you'd find elsewhere in the world. They don't know how deep it has affected me or how big a part it is in my life, so it's much; my business, your business.

My mum supports me the most of all (hell, she even watches anime with me and buys most of the merchandise, manga and anime for me), I sometimes have disagreements with my dad about my hobbies and he makes fun of my choice at uni and I have a love/hate relationship with my sister. Can't really complain

Patience, know it as they probably don't really know all there is/enough about anime/manga to really make an adequate statement about it anyway. If they did, they wouldn't say such things.

My mother is overbearing and sweet, so i love her. My father is a dead beat that i haven't seen in 11 years, my sister's and brother are both complete and utter conformist a-holes...But i digress. When they're in trouble i help them, but for the most part i try my best to avoid them. My two uncles both literally came out of a nut house, they're annoying and inconsiderate. Honestly i despise most of my family.

I love my mum, we don't talk a lot, but we do have good conversations. I eat dinner with my mum, step-dad and brother and we talk then, I think that a bit of talking with family is vital. Sure I get into tones of arguments over pointless crap, but that's because I'm a 16 year old hormonal teenager and we've just moved to a different country, so things were pretty stressful
