Ninigi-no-Mikoto (瓊瓊杵尊?) (also Ame-nigishi-kuni-nigishi-amatsuhi-kohiko-ho-no-ninigi-no-Mikoto) is in Japanese mythology the son of Ame no Oshihomimi no Mikoto, and grandson of Amaterasu, who sent him down to earth to plant rice there. He was the great-grandfather of Emperor Jimmu. His name also appears as Ninigi (瓊瓊杵?).

Amaterasu sent him to pacify Japan by bringing the three celestial gifts used by the emperor. The sword, Kusanagi, the mirror, Yata no kagami, and the jewel, Yasakani no magatama. These three gifts signify that the emperor is the descendant of Amaterasu herself.

i think Naruto has the Ningi inside of him, that itachi transfered to him, wich only complete after Itachi's death. And that maybe the reason why Sasuke ''Black'' Susano'o is incomplete.
Ningi with the Three Gifts will stop any attacks from Sharigan Moves.
I know this is kinda confuse but i think Ningi inside Naruto is to pacify(Remove) Amaterasu and Susano'o inside Sasuke.

I guess it makes sense. We've seen Sasuke's Susano'o and thus far no sword or shield. Maybe Itachi gave those to him in case Sasuke did go down the wrong path he wouldn't be unstoppable.

could be izanagi cuz its japanese Sun God and sasuke is in darkness with amaterasu,susanoo and tsukuyomi but its saying this for izanagi...

He and his spouse Izanami bore many islands, deities, and forefathers of Japan. When Izanami died in childbirth, Izanagi tried (but failed) to retrieve her from Yomi (a hades). In the cleansing rite after his return, he beget Amaterasu (the sun goddess) from his left eye, Tsukiyomi (the moon god) from his right eye, and Susanowo ( tempest or storm god) from his nose.

if its true about izanagi then naruto maybe will fail to bring sasuke back even with that power... just like in japanese mythology...

he did say that the gifts were only fully transfered at the time of itachis death...so your reasoning is off.



an excelent theory and i believe you may be correct. I know that he gave naruto a gift but i dont see why it would be in itachi interest to help naruto defeat sasuke

i think the best interest to itachi help naruto defeat sasuke, is to to protect Konoha and for helping sasuke for not do something stupid.

Looking at all the responses i have got to say that overall the theory is very interesting but could it be possible that maybe itachi could see something in naruto that only the fourth seen in him could he have given naruto another key to that jutsu?

Ah...I can see that. Itachi probably wouldn't want his brother to be invincible--in case of Madara and in case he decided to be a total jerk like he is right now.

Naruto mentioned that Sasuke is like a brother to him to Itachi , and likely Naruto got any kind of gift to defeat sasuke if he made something stupid or if he followed madaras way , and to remember Itachi would let sasuke go close Madara cuz that Amaterasu will go on like a fire , so its likely that madara wants something with Sasuke�s body or eyes.

u see a killerbee said genjutsu's won't work on a host , so sasuke's sukuyomi is no good , and as just with speed raikage survived from amaterasu, so ametarasu is not concerning thing here , so, probably itachi gave naruto something to break ultimate defence of susanno, that's what i think

It's so clear what itachi gave naruto.

We all know that with the mangekyou sharingan, the kyuubi can be controlled (We know for a fact that madara did this)

It is MORE than logical to me that itachi indeed gave naruto some kind of power to control the kyuubi or put another mangekyou seal on the kyuubi to indeed let it think that naruto is its master.

I believe the gift is something that can counter Sasukes control over the kyuubi (he can suppress the kyuubis chakra.. maybe he can even control and manipulate it like Madara).

I think it's kinda like how the 4th hokage is in naruto itachi put him self in there 2 and will appear if naruto and sasuke fight in order to calm sasuke down and tell him to stop his whole revenge thing

Never even thought about that idea.. really sounds like you got something there.. I really like that idea

Okay, there is just no way that the gift is one that allows naruto to control the kyuubi. Just look at what happened when he fought pain. Naruto almost released the kyuubi once and for all. It seems most likely to me that itachi placed some of his chakra inside of naruto, just like the fourth did, in the event that sasuke would get onto the screwed up path of revenge again.
