Mentioned minato because i presumed he was your fav character. Creating a thread stating somebody's fav character is a failure is something i wanted you to an extent also experience when i listed techniques that were developed by orochimaru to firstly state that he is not a failure but also for you to see that he has created more techniques than minato.

i really think oro poses a good matchup for minato and his rebirth jutsu could be problematic for the 4th, but i dont know how he gets a clean shot on the instantaneousness of the ftg technique.

on the contrary, Orochimaru (and the sannin as a whole) are tremendously underrated.

Orochimaru gets a bad rap simply because he got trolled vs the uchiha, only because he keeps trying to take over their bodies (plus in legend Susanoo defeated Yamato no Orochi, and Totsuka no Tsurugi is the perfect counter for the blade of Kusanagi, weasels kill snakes etc etc). Do you honestly think if he wanted to keep fighting Itachi that time he wouldnt have given him a run for his money? he survived having his throat cut by Kabuto and being bisected by 4-tails Naruto, having a hand cut off is peanuts for him (granted he would still lose as Itachi is his worst opponent). and if he had gone for the kill instead of trying to absorb Sasuke while he was paralyzed Sasuke would be dead (and this is an orochimaru w/o arms mind you). not to mention he sparred with the 4-tails just for the fun of it.
