how come Madara couldn control Kyubi when he was With Naruto

how come Madara couldn control Kyubi when he was With Naruto??? It was said that Kyubi was Madar's pet and even in the first episode of shipduuen when Saskue went n Naruto's mind he found the Kyubi and the Kyubi saw Saskue's Sharingan and said u are an uchiha and said Madara's Name so how come he couldnt at least make contact with Kyubi and when the first Hokage's fight both of them contrled beasts there is a catch to this hole thing its either he isnt the true Madara or he is a part of Madara or he lost his Powers becasue he stated (to be complete) i seriuosly dont know and im sorry if this was posted before!!!

...maybe because before the Kyuubi was out and individual. now he is sealed inside Naruto...

in the animie, during the three tails arc. Deidara mentions something like "it was an easy hunt since there was no mind to control so much power".

Meaning that bijuus don't have much brains but do have a lot of power. the lack of brains make them "easy" to control/hunt.

Maybe he chose not to? Maybe he needs to use both eyes or his left eye to do it? He only came by to 'talk' and instigate more bull so could be anything lol.
