for the most part i believe that everyone should be treated equal, i agree with Caliburn and yes woman have been treated poorly in the past but now in this time they have started to abuse it, not all of them though it just show's the humans can be corrupted.

I don't think the Gender War is ever gonna end.
On the one hand men -by their genes- still want to preserve the rights they used to have on women and on the other hand women kinda had enough of this, for centuries. Equality is not the matter here, i think it's a battle for domination. And for that fact it's up to every single one of us how he/she will lead his/her life.
I am the type of woman who is giving the leading role to her man, this is how i was raised, i have no problem with it. Greek women are like this still.
If my love/lover doesn't want me to go somewhere or doesn't want me to wear something specific i won't do it. Not because I am his slave or anything, just because i don't see the need in making the other feel uncomfortable. Of course talking about reasonable matters and realistic people, not control crazy sick men (yup been there also )

So in the end, it's a matter of who is gonna last the most.
And having control wears you out eventually
