so i've been wondering....

i'm surprised no one has touched on this subject yet. How do you guys feels that the death of Neji will effect his friend/rival rock lee?

They had somewhat of a watered down version of sasuke and naruto"s friendship/rivalry

. one being a genius with a born talent..the other making hard work making his ticket to success. Neji was one major obstacle in lee's life that made him who he is today. vowing to become stronger than him through relentless training. in short.. had it not been for the superiority/inferiority complex involved in their rivalry...lee would have never been that outstanding taijutsu master we see now. seeing as how their relationship forced lee to grow... how do you think Neji's death will effect the mind of Rock lee??

my prediction- i believe that after seeing neji taken down right it front of him... Lee will open the 8th gate.. thus being the "ninja who specializes in taijutsu " that shikkaku advised to take on Madara...BUT i beilieve through sheer will and the durability he has attained through his hardwork..that he will survive the strain of the gate and be left heavily injured. Being the only Ninja to ever achieve this feat..thus. becoming the splendid ninja that he always strived to be once again thanks to his rival/friend/inspiration , Neji thoughts ?

I think in a way Lee thought of Neji as his Kakashi
He will be sad but I doubt it will have a big impact on him

and IDK really maybe hell move on find someone new to chase after

Kishi doesn't care about the K11. He killed Neji for Naruto, not Lee. If only he could have been better at other character's development.
