who do u think suffered the most?

Who do u guys think suffered the most and burdened alot of pain being a protagonist in any anime series?
I think it was edward elric from FMA-B(lost his arm and leg and his brother in human transmutatuion to c his mom but failed) and luffy from one piece(in war got his brother killed infront of his eyes)
And naruto too but not as much like the above too

Garra for sure.. Made as a weapon, rejected like everybody,killed his uncle because he was trying kill him, father tried multiple times to kill gaara, mother died when he was young. But I know Nagato, and obito also had it hard, but garra never seemed to get a break. I know naruto was ignored by the village to but he eventually was accepted. It took garra a while. Sasuke lost his clan, but they had to be killed or a uprising would have acoured. Soo it was some what justified.

Naruto suffered the most i think, he was kick out of the orphanage at a young age. He had to live on the streets, surviving on scraps. He got beaten up and treated like trash by most of the villagers every single day, he survived the beatings only because he is an uzumaki (fast regeneration) and the Nine-tails healing him. He was lonely, having watched other kids with their parents He wish he had his own. He had no friends and families. The villagers ignored him, gave him glares and called him names like "Demon". He was the scapegoat of the village, they overcharged him at least 3 times the amount, kicked him out of stores, even some ninjas tried to kill him. He failed the academy because the instrutors there except iruka trashed his teachings and trainings. And yet he still puts on a smile and never give up. TRUE HERO

Zero Kiryuu, I think this one might take the cake. His family got killed, he himself is turned into a vampire with the risk of falling into a Level E and then die at any given moment, he has to live with the burden of being a vampire, the species he hates a lot, he's from a famous vampire hunter family and therefore he himsef is at risk of being killed, his twin brother attempted to kill him and then dies in his arms, the girl he loves is head over heels for his rival, this same girl turns out to be a Pureblood vampire who he hates a lot, this same girl runs away with his rival, this same girl takes his memories away and runs away to sacrifice her life. Yup. Zero definitely is the one who has suffered the most amongst any other manga protagonist. (that I know)

1) Yuno and Yukki ( Mirai nikki) Yuno became god to revive yukki but couldnt revive a soul. Came back in time to be with Yukki. Killed past version of herself and became a mad woman. Yukki becomes god after Yuno stabs herself infront of him. Cries for the next 10000 years until yuno from another finds him.
2) Luci ( E;fen Lied). One of the saddest childhoods' I have ever seen.
3) forgot the name but the diclonius hwo was the daughter of the head of research ( Elfen Lied) -Subjected herself to insane hours of experiment and torture just to make her father proud and happy of her.
4) Nico Robin (One Piece). Rejected by society.
5) Sasuke, Nagato and Naruto ( same level of pain)
6) Lelouch, Shirley and Kollen ( Code geass) Lelouch tried to make the world a better place. People died in the process namely Shirley's dad. Shirley finds out but still continues to love him only to be killed by rolo( Lelouch's fake brother). Kollen got caught in the middle of all of this.
7) Inuyasha and Kikyo ( Inuyasha). Inuyasha thought he was betrayed by Kikyo when she tried to kill her. Kikyo thought she was beetrayed by Inuyasha after he tried to kill her. Kikyo dies and Inuyasha gets sealed away for more than 50 years. Little did they know that it was Naraku who disguised as them and carried out the plan.

Umm he never was in orphanage. he was taken care of by the third and iruka. They pervided him with some food. He had a house lol he was never attacked that was never said. Idk what u were reading but no of Thoes things happined. Yes he was ignored and kick out of stores and looked down on.

Definitely Guts from Berserk. Born from practically a corpse, betrayed by and forced to kill his father figure, left as a lone wolf for a good portion of his life until he meets the Band of Hawks, finally has true comrades and even a lover for probably the first time in his life, and after a number of circumstances........loses them all. All of his friends are massacred except for his lover, who is viciously raped by the leader of the group (responsible for the betrayal) as he watches helplessly, unable to do anything about it. Said lover is reduced to a terrible mental state and Guts is left with nothing but revenge against the one who destroyed everything he finally gained in his life.

Lelouch. And this as well. Lelouch may not have suffered as much as Guts but he's definitely up there. All the tragedy he faced as a young boy forcing him to pursue revenge, only to discover that it would take away some of those most precious to him in the long run. Not to mention the fact that in spite of what he learns about his parents, he has already gone so far he cannot waver and is forced to take the route where he must make the world (and even his beloved sister) despise his existence for the greater good in an almost unbearable way.
