naruto was happy about his wind element because wind feeds fire .. he does not want to overpower sasuke he wants to get sasuke off his quest for revenge ... therefore he hoped by enstrengthening him he might be getting him back

It isn't so much absorbed, it just makes it stronger in the way like in the real world oxygen makes fire stronger. ameratsu is a weird case because it sorta eats chakra so it probably would win and not apply to this theory(although I dont know if it would get stronger becasue it isn't really fire and doesn't really act like fire except for being very hot but a normal firse attack might get pushed the other way by the wind and direction of motion of the frs and be powered up in the other way.

Can you show me WHERE it says Amaterasu eats chakra.... Really... Its pretty much a REALLY high class flame technique that is in the reach of those with the Kekkai Genkai for it.

wats not to get??? if u throw rasenshuriken at sasuke and sasuke throws a fire base tech the wind will capture the fire around it and still hit target... kinda when he used it wit yamato, he used wind rasengan wit the water yamato used and they both fused... same thing would happend wit the fire, wind makes fire stronger, if sasuke throws a fire jutsus at narutos rasenshuriken the fire would fuse... i guess wat im trying to say is that a fire jutsu would not cancel out rasenshuriken, bcuz naruto is not literaly blowing it thru his month or its not really attach to him, its a wind related tech throw... like a throwing tornato

I don't get your theory, but I think I'll stick with the basics of Fire > Wind. I don't think there is anyway for FRS to win against Susanno or Amaterasu. I think the only way Naruto would get around Amaterasu is creating some sort of water style Rasengan and even then since Amaterasu isn't a normal fire it shouldn't work. Maybe some sort of Kyuubi powered jutsu may have a chance. I'm sure Kishimoto will make a way around it for Naruto just give it some time.

hey dont forget that if you have weak flames, then wind will be able to put it out. so i think that the rasen shuriken was developed to be able to counter fire based jutsu

so if sasuke uses a regular katon jutsu against FRS.. hes roasted.. not too sure abt amaterasu... basically if amaterasu > FRS (power/chakra usage wise) then naruto's FRS gets backfired on him along with black flames... if FRS > amaterasu (power/chakra wise) then wind absorbs the fire and attacks sasuke

But if he uses Rasenrengan , and that was more bigger than J-man´s Ulitmate that would likely take out A-S ranked fire jutsus.

I think Rasenshuriken is a jutsu to counter fire. We all know that wind makes fire stronger, so if u blow on fire it gets bigger, But if u throw it like a shuriken dont u guys think that the fire would fuse wit the wind but still hit the target?? Maybe thats why he was working hard on that jutsu... to throw it. I think if naruto throws Rasenshuriken at Sasuke and he counters wit fire or even Amateretsu the flames would fuse wit the wind but still hit the target... sasuke... im a genious.

well rasenshuriken should beat most of sasukes fire element anyway because it is too strong for it. like yamato said. if narutos wind is the same strength it will backfire but if the wind is stronger it will go through.
using his example if you put more wind onto a fire the fire gets put out.
also with the rasenshuriken moving as fast as it does will it not just cut the fire in half?

Yeah i'm thinking the whole element system is retarded. I don't see how lightning is greater than earth. Lightning gets diffused through earth. And an equal wind and fire tech flying at each other would just make a really big fire in the middle; it wouldn't backfire on anyone. If the fire tech was greater than the wind tech power wise then the wind tech would just feed the flames and then it would backfire. If the wind tech was stronger then it would blow the enhanced flames back at the fire tech user. But same strength is still a stalemate. Just like water and fire, the water may put out the fire but it'll evaporate because of the heat. The system is just a reference.

I think FRS would just cut through any elemental ninjutsu used to block it at least until it reached the bomb part in the nucleus. Then it would explode on whatever it was touching (fire, water, earth, lightning, another wind, w/e). Amaterasu may be just a high level fire tech but it can burn even fire which makes it different from any other fire tech (besides the fact that the flames are black). It might be able to burn all the energy out of FRS before it gets close so that the explosion it makes is minor. But I doubt Amaterasu and FRS are gonna be clashing. More likely they will both be dodging them with shunshin and stuff.

I get what you are saying and that is that u can use the rasen-shuriken being a projectile change the course of the Fire. That my guess is that it will probably work with normal Fire-jyutsuus (since its such a powerful attack) it probably might be like wind blowing the Fire in the opp direction.. But i doubt it will work with Ameteratsu. because as far as i remember the Ameteratsu fire pops up @ the place where Sasuke (or whichever user) looks @. Therefore its not really like a fire in motion and hence you would have to dodge the Eyesight of the Sharingan. Though I guess Naruto could dodge the Ameteratsu by mass kage-bunshins as I remmber Sasuke saying that even with the Sharingan its not possible to detect the real naruto by just looking @ it. Oh and from what a thousand users of Death posted (the Manga page) this shows that the idea might work because rasen-shyuriken is such a powerful jyutsu (Even Minato din't complete it as much as Naruto did)- so obviously its not even close to the levels of Normal Fire Techniques and hence the theory might work. Also u ain't no genious as even sum1 like me thought about it in such a way, and so did many coz I think there was already a thread about this sum tym back...

P.S. I think I'd Love to see sasuke getting Burnt by his own Fire.. LOL

I don't think naruto had anything like that in mind when he was training to throw it... he just wanted a way to use the technique he trained so hard to learn that wouldnt destroy him in the process.
