Does that make Ino pretty strong? This is provided that the translation is correct and I am interpreting this part correctly. But a shintensin quicker than BM Naruto would make her pretty damn good IMO. Plus it seems to make her shintensin stronger as she is able to hold Obito in it longer than the first time.

Ino would not be able to control naruto or juubi without kyuubi's chakra, so even if she was faster it wouldnt change anything.

No....Naruto is commenting on the fact. Ino was able to react to the spikes faster than Naruto....because Ino was in the head she could lift the ARM last minute!
