Ninjas could use chakra before the sage became the jubi's jinchuriki

A lot of people say that the sage started the use of chakra and created jutsu after he became the jubi's jinchuriki. But it's not true. The sage wielded five weapons and they consume huge amount of chakra. The sage used those weapons to fight the jubi. This is proof that the ninjas could wield chakra and use jutsu before the sealing of the jubi.





The jubi may have been the start of OP jutsu and abilities but the ninjas did know how to wield chakra and create jutsu. I think that because if they knew how to use chakra they are likely to know how to make hand signs and create jutsu. What other purpose did wielding chakra serve them?

There are tens of thousands of ninjutsu. you really think he invented all of that? he probably only taught them how to properly utilize chakra so they don't waste it and also some ninjutsu.

Yes, and by that it means the sage taught them the proper use of chakra like without wasting much. Ebisu taught naruto the same. it's not like naruto couldn't use chakra before that, he just couldn't properly use it.

they could do basic chakra manipulation ie kkg and possibly walking on water etc(the stuff samurai do) but they did not know how to do ninjutsu(ie stuff that needs handseals to do) till the sage taught it....the samurai were older than ninjas.

so, you're saying after the sage became the jubi's jinchurikis he mysteriously got the knowledge of hand signs and ninjutsu?? It is said in the manga that the sage taught everyone jutsu but it doesn't mean they didn't know it from before. the sage probably learned to do stronger jutsu which he taught his students. that's all.

he could of created them after he sealed the juubi within him.

the hand seals purpose is like a switch to any mechanism, its an evolution from generation to generation in order to "draw" results that the wielder desired. Basically, the chakra already resides inside everyone bodies, just waiting to be drained out and practised.
