*join the most dangerous group to protect konoha from the inside
*sacrifice his whole LIFE
*stopped edo tensei
*help to beat nagato that is about to rape B and naruto
*and a very loving brother

I say Itachi did alot for the village then Minato, was useful but i say that it was more so on Itachi. Even though Minato saved the village Itachi is saving the whole world at the moment.

i'm not a minato or itachi fanboy but i would have to say since you said it yourself... minato prevented kurama from destroying the village and essentially saving itachi so that he could go on and do those things that itachi has done... in a way.. minato did more since he provided the chance for itachi to do his greatness... BOOOM... didn't ur minds just explode... ur thread and poll just collapsed on itself...

Exactly. Itachi stopped his clans coup de'tat but at what prise. He also drove Sasuke to near madness. He was too much of a shinobi willing to kill not only the bad within the Uchiha clan but everyone; the old, the young, everyone. He made one of the biggest errors within the manga and though he had good intentions it was full of mistakes and miscalculations.
Minato on the other hand had a successful plan that is still coming to fruition through his son.
They both did a hell of a lot and sacrificed everything, but Minato's way was far better, IMO.
OT: FTG would one shot Itachi seeing as how it's an instantaneous teleportation jutsu and Tsukuyomi is not.

Anything could have happened there is no saying that Itachi would have died anything could have happened, like for example he could have maybe ran away.

What kind of bullshit is this, had Itachi lived before Minato it would have turned out the same, besides i bet that the Uchiha clan could have handeled the Kyuubi on its own, the Uchiha clan didn't do anything since they were hated by the villagers. Minato wasn't even needed lol.

Itachi - As kabuto said , stopped a war, which would have spiralled into another great ninja war
- Protected konoha from being destroyed by joining Akatsuki and making a deal with obito
