shouldve guess that something like this would happen but i think we all foresaw Minevera landing the fianl blow on either Kagura or Erza. I guess Erza is in for another round of beating by Minevera. But... i guess Erza will end up winning and eventually take one point more than sabertooth. After all... Erza vs Minevera was the match that Mavis had originally decided on. That being said, how will erza fight with an injured leg??

Pretty good chapter can't wait to see Erza vs Minerva. Erza is in trouble after being injured by Kagura and that collapsing pillar.

Wow...that got a little emotional! Erza is now going to go all 'Natsu' on Minerva, cannot wait to see what happens nect! Although I wonder if she will get any assistance, I mean can they fight as a team or does it have to be 1 on 1? She is injured after all. Man wanna see Gajeel take down Rogue like a boss!

we should have imagined it wouldn't be anything that deep.

Still, Minerva is really a *****. Thankfully, Kagura will still survive. Never really understood why people don't cut up heads in most mangas... I mean, she stabbed her in a place where its obvious she will survive.

Question right now is how will Erza be able to fight with an injured leg like that.

The power of Feelings prevails yet again...That in the next page they declared Erza the victor...This chapter was lame imo..The ending was the only thing that made this worth reading..

Kagura back in chapter 314 was owning Erza without drawing her sword and Erza couldn't counter with any of her armors and at the end of the chapter was setup for Kaguras victory. Once again "the power of friendship" saves the day yet again and granted Erza's victory over Kagura, talk about BS lol. This was a repeat of Natsu vs Sting and Rouge, scratch that Erza vs Azuma, Erza get's whoops around and then she uses a one friendship swing *face palm*. Minerva of course is going to lose to Erza cause of "the power of friendship" apparently can beat anything.

I give this chapter a 1/5, a terrible start for Fairy Tail in 2013

It's like you're giving a shovel to a fish and expect it to give milk. You can't criticize something for what it is, and it already been established that's how FT works. Besides, Kagura wasn't set to defeat Erza, it was quite clear Erza wasn't even trying to win.

Agreed. Complaining that FT members take power from friendship and the bounds they have with others is complaining about the core of the manga.

The story showed, early on, that like in One Piece (albeit in very very different ways), bounds with your team mates, your friends is what drives the plot and the characters.

It actually makes for a very positive message but also quite befiting of FT's position as a beacon of hope, good and all that is pink and fluffy in the world.

Still, lets not forget, Minerva is basically ridiculing all that right now. The writter just did something very not like him. So, from here on out we are a bit on unknown territory. Is Erza going to beat Minerva? Dunno. Perhaps not. I think the question with Minerva will be a bit more complicated than a simple "win or lose" situation.

I'm just giving my honest opinion whether I love the chapter or hate it, there's nothing wrong with that. True, I guess I'm just annoyed the way it turn out.

Minerva will have a tragic death, really hope she'll die, a slow, and painful death. But I guess this isn't the kind of manga that will make that happen, during their fight something emotional will happen and Minerva then will be telling a little story about her early life and then it will be something like, I spare you, because we are fairy tail. Not that I dislike it, but it's obvious.

I'm going to take that back a little bit, I completely forgot Minerva stabbed Kagura in the back at the end of the chapter, Minerva is a evil ***** and like it . The beginning was awful, but had an good finish.

I rate this chapter now a 4/5, a ok start for Fairy Tail for 2013, again my mistake I got annoyed at the first half of the chapter.
