Remember when they were suppose to fight Sasuke? Now that Shikaku figured out how to share the Kyuubi and Naruto's chakra, it would be a cake walk. If Naruto was nice enough to give them some.

Shikamaru - Already much smarter than Sasuke. Now his shadow jutsu can hold the world's strongest entity. Sasuke would be easy as pie to trap and hold to be killed with shadow sewing.

Choji - Gets even larger and more powerful. Too bad he is even fatter now. Poor guy has no chance with Ino now.

Ino - Her mind transfer is even faster.

Hinata - Was able to counter an attack from the Jyuubi with ease.

And that is only the main rookies. Lee, Tenten, Sakura, Sai, Kiba, and Shino have yet to be powered up. And they have the Ghost of Neji in their hearts!

You have a good point, though many fans are predicting a "power up" from Sasuke. To be honest, I'd rather just see a progression of the story rather then more powers. It's time to complete the circle of the story. Sasuke has Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan which can control all Juubi and the 10 tails. What more does he need. Sasuke deserves to be sized done by Naruto's awesome power so Naruto can beat into him the weakness of isolationism and how necessary it is for Sasuke to reach out and bond with the living and pass on the past to the next generations.

It would be a close fight. K11 wouldn't have too much trouble taking down suigetsu and juugo imo, but Sasuke would be a problem.
