The Moment Kakashi Killed Rin

It seems that since Kakashi and Rin both were cornered by anbu Kakashi probrably thought he was going to die that moment, before dying he killed Rin to prevent the enemy from capturing her.

Of course he was not expecting Obito to come but what I am getting at is that there were two choices Kakashi had
Either die and let Rin get captured or Kill Rin and die along side with her

Though with Obito in the picture, a new outcome was possible which was sparring Kakashi's life AND the capture of Rin
Of course Obito wouldn't kill kakashi as he was morning Rins death and also soon konoha reinforcements arrive.

But did anyone from konoha know kakashi killed Rin? It seemed like some people did, like Gai.
But anyways yea for sure Rin is dead, and no not spy or genjutsu >.>

Gai's reaction here makes me believe that he knows that Kakashi killed her, not just "let her die" lol

Just like how Kisame killed his Kirigakure teammates, this could very well be the same reason that Kakashi killed Rin. Both of them could have been spying in the Mist Village until they got caught and cornered by ANBU. Against an armada of Elite Shinobi, Kakashi probably had no choice. A final act before he felt as though he would die.

Obito said "you LET Rin die". Not " you killed her". To LET someone die doesn't mean to kill them yourself. That's jus how I see it. I believe there's more to it

he "let" her die because he was unable to prevent that situation obito doesn't blame him for killing her because if obito hadn't been there the anbu would have killed her anyway. obito blames kakashi for not preventing the necessity of killing rin.
