[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 617 Discussion and 618 Predictions

For those that do not like the chapters as they are now... you must have all REALLY hated the manga during the first half, because it had all of the same themes as now, just for more immature reasons.

The way I see this manga, its about maturity. Not only physically, but also the maturity of beliefs and ideas. And with that comes three important things: 1) The things we take with us from our youth to our mature selves 2) The things that we leave behind in our youth, and 3) The new things that we gain. In regards to those three, Naruto as a manga is full of them, each character in his/her own way demonstrating them. Let's look at our main character Naruto. What he has maintained throughout his life is the desire to become Hokage, the importance of bonds, and his never-give-up attitude. What he has left behind are his overly simplified reasons for doing some things (from wanting to become Hokage just to prove himself, to wanting to be Hokage to protect his precious people) and his hate (beating Dark Naruto, who himself is a representation of Naruto's past grudges) What he has gained is an understanding of the ninja world ("we are ninja, those that must endure") And this is all from just ONE character among the many that we have come to know and love/hate.

Now, I think it is finally time for us to start enjoying the main fight. Madara and Obito are have lost control of the juubi, but they themselves are now free to fun rampant as individual murder machines. You may all yet get to see the 6paths techniques that you have been complaining for. And I also think that Sasuke is on the Uchiha grounds. I don't want to throw any theories around yet, because based on the language that he used to describe the people he is searching for, its not to speak politely. We shall see.

Agreed! Idk how people can complain when these themes have always been used... And I think it's the Hokages 'cause of the way Oro seemed when he asked why he wanted to meet them.

For those like myself that wrote threads about naruto later combining both kyubi chakra and senjutsu I believe ur dream might be coming thru just because now naruto can manipulate kamara chakra into his so combinding with nature energy shouldn't be difficult + there was something kurama said " he is now ready" ready for what? ehhhhhhh.

I see all these post on lee splitting madara into 2 with his kick but haven't we seen this b4 with the kage battle. Madara lets his opponents go wild till they are low in chakra if he really wanted to block it he could have if he deem it necessary

It would be really cool to see sasuke get a power up like izanagi. He needs some type of jutsu besides the amaterasu/susanoo to counter bijuu mode. If he had izanagi with ems, he might have more endurance because of his ems. He definately has a powerup coming soon though, you can tell because kishi has been showing how strong bijuu mode is against sharingan users.

Madara Banana leaf fan can return only energy where Lee is straight attack and speed. The energy he get from Naruto was to give him a boost in speed and strength. So Lee the perfect person to attack Madara with.

If Madara is not dead from Lee attack he must be in a world of pain. As you can remember he resurrected himself after the battle with the 5 kages. He cannot stay like before and keep getting kill and come back that jutsu was release. So he can be kill now that why he needed the Fan to block attack since than. Also the 10-tailed beast to do most of his attack. All of his talk and I have not seen 1 attack so far since he resurrect himself. As for the 10-tailed beast what a let down. At least all the other tailed-beast have a will and can do more than take order. Also if Naruto just give everyone this enormous amount of energy and still enter Bujii mode, how much power does the 9-tail have? Does it somehow have enough to counter even the original 10-tail or is because the 10-tail is incomplete?

Sasuke is looking for the truth, unwilling to believe any story from anyone anymore. When he gets the truth he will sacrifice himself for the village just as Itachi did. He will then give his powers to Naruto. Naruto becomes SO6P.

I don't think it would be a good idea for Naruto to get Sasuke's eyes. He has gotten this far just on his natural strengths (let's just lump the kyuubi in as an... implanted kekkei genkai) He represents the "lack of natural abilities" sphere of ninja, so him getting Sasuke's eyes would be kind of awkward. However, I would not be surprised if in the very end something like that happens.

The thing that I'm wondering about is, will Kishimoto let Sasuke be killed in the end. That would mean the literal end of the Uchiha clan. I hope that some resolution comes about where ALL of team 7 can get their dreams fulfilled. Naruto will become Hokage, Sakura will get whatever prepubescent fantasies she was squealing about, and Sasuke gets to rebuild his clan. Though I do not agree with the path Sasuke has taken, we can all agree that he definitely makes his abode at the short end of the stick. His love is just shown in a very Uchiha way, and that is loving to the extent that you come to hate.

Funny you should say Madara could be in a world of pain.
This is about the 3rd time Madara has being 'destroyed' since he resurrected via Edo tensei: 1.) When he summoned the meteor. 2.) When Tsunade thought she had defeated him. 3.) & when Lee kicked him; also remember when he almost went down to the reversal of edo tensei by Itachi. Not once did he mention being in pain nor did the pages show a distressed face of Madara.

On topic: I give it a 4/5 the story is finally progressing. Lee's surprise kick was awesome.

Did Sakura even get a cloak? I dont think we have seen her since that random shocked expression a few chapters ago after Neji died. I dont think she has even been in the way background of any scenes. It almost seems like shes completely left the field all together. I can't help but wonder, did kishi just completely forget about her or did she actually leave to because she thought about checking on tsunade or something?

I just notice that naruto does not have the fox eye in his present biiju mode so does this mean that while naruto is fighting kurama now go and get more chakra so naruto never runs out and can continue to fight without running out of chakra.
