That's the root of the whole problem with Sakura. It's now apparent that Kishimoto might be regretting or even admitting his mistake with Sakura's character. If this is Sakura's only purpose, then it is very offending to females. I've already started hearing it on youtube a few minutes ago. Sakura does not represent the females in naruto, but she is the MAIN female, she's suppose to be at the center stage, being badass and self-independent. She's suppose to be a strong female character. My problem is that She has no unique abilities, that are only unique to her. Sakura is not a terrible person, she is just a bad designed character.

Kishimoto made her a "normal girl" and now it looks like that came back to bite him in the butt. She is now just "meh". The average joe, the average female. Nothing unique about her. It's now apparent that sakura's purpose was to balance out naruto & sasuke's tragedies and because of that, she has nothing special to offer.

She relies on the standard shonen female archetype to get by. Kishi has admitted his mistake, by making sakura a medical ninja, because now she has to stay on the sidelines while fodders and secondary female characters like Ten Ten steal the spotlight. It's becoming clearer that Kishi is using the medical ninja rules to explain why sakura isn't fighting, which works to his advantage and it can cover up his mistake. it seems to me like kishi has plans for the whole konoha 11 except sakura because she has rules to stay on the sideline.

I don't think it would be very useful to have regrets about creating a character, he has a story to focus on. If he had regrets about her, he wouldn't be practicing what his own characters preach. "It's too late to have regrets," or "The moment I second-guess myself it's all over."

Point of Fact No one but Hinata could have heeled Naruto in the middle of battle, For Sakura or any Medic they would have to pull Him of the battle feel His arm to find the dislocation point before setting in,Do you think Obito or Madara were going to stop to let Sakura fix the shoulder? No Only Hinata with Her eyes can see the separation and reset it at that speed in the middle of combat.

Hinata being there and helping Naruto is all she ever dreamed of doing and she's getting that chance, she's finally shinning and it was thanks to her cousin's sacrifice.

Sakura's role will probably revolve more around their meeting with Sasuke again.

You are absolutely correct :D, I agree that she will play a role once Sasuke returns to the battlefield because a majority of Sakura's character involves around Sasuke sadly. If Sakura doesn't get good involvement when Sasuke shows, then Kishi really has forgotten Sakura lol, I'm just saying.

I kinda think, I'm not sure because I'm only recalling a couple of examples, where Sakura entered a funk when big things happened without her, where she'd become depressed that she isn't able to do anything. She could have retreated into herself, or further into the background as a result. If it turns out she's needed for a certain thing and she's discovered like this, she could be a weakness for the Alliance; if she's not part of the specific plan but her skills are needed for support. In the same way that it seems Hinata isn't part of the plan but is already carrying out tasks to make it go smoothly.
