Vice-Admirals can use Haki, so Admirals can also use Haki. That point it refuted. Second Gear is indeed pretty boss, but he can't hit Kizaru or Akainu. Aokiji possibly, but then he would just get frozen. So...

I don't think so, just because he has now better control on haki doesn't mean he's on their level, kizaru DF is dengerous as hell and is haki is superior to luffy i assume, same goes to akainu, his magma is extremely dangerous to luffy. So no i don't think he's equal to an admiral, and it wouldn't make sense for luffy to be so strong now, since the admirals are the strongest force of the Marine.
