[Spoilers] Gai Sensei helped Lee kick open Madara

I've been reading a lot of threads where people are wondering what Gai sensei, sakura etc are doing. So to clear up Gai's whereabouts to you I've highlighted where he is in Manga Chapter 617.

Looks to me like Gai is taking charge with Naruto and Lee.

Here we see there is only one person with the Lee/Gai haircut and the action shows that Gai has pushed/thrown something towards Madara. That something being Lee We also see Kakashi has joined in on the charge in this panel!



Let me know what you think! Sorry if this was super obvious to some of you, but it was getting annoying seeing people commenting about how Lee couldn't have been fast enough to kill Madara before he took up a defensive, and where the hell is GAI?!

Good eye, I recognized Gai the first time but I thought that was just Lee taking off the second time but looking at it after reading your post it's clear gai was behind Lee

He Has preta path, doesn't mean he'll use it. Quite often characters fail to utilize their skills to the absolute fullest potential.

Ok all Im saying is the mouth bubble lines of origin are not clear and w/o a voice I don't agree that you can say definitely which character said which lines. Naruto could have said hell yeah while Gai said go Lee or it could be reversed.

Oh I wasn't looking at the bubble as much as Gai's hands, then the caption made it obvious, but even without the caption (if you look closely enough though, you can see the long point of the bubble aiming at Gai to indicate he's talking. It's tricky to catch) you can see him helping Lee.

No the reason people started making threads about who sasuke was sensing was becaus people here are fanboys and they couldn't accept the fact that naruto was/is so strong.

****ing exactly!!! But I didn't know that Lee used Guy as a launching pad...it explains how Lee got to him as fast as the rasenshuriken...plus didn't Guy do that with his turtle summon to catch up to Kisame...probably some technique they both just use..
