Sasuke has the reputation of a hero?

Despite being portrayed as an antagonist, Sasuke seems to have the reputation of hero in the manga. It's like no one really cares that he killed Danzo.

Apart from the K11, Kakashi, Yamato, and maybe a few other people, Sasuke is generally viewed as a good guy. He is known for killing Orochimaru and on top of that Konoha fodder ninja seem to like him for getting rid of Itachi as well.

Not much of a topic, I know. But I think this is somewhat interesting to point out since some people we're wondering if Sasuke could ever be accepted again if he returns to Konoha.

Sasuke is definitely not regarded as a hero.

The village might have been lenient towards him and would have welcomed him back, even after his stunt of going to Orochimaru, if he came back after killing Itachi. If he hadn't went after Danzo and hadn't broken into the Kage meeting, then maybe he would have been given a chance easily.

But he is declared a missing nin and they definitely won't be happy to let him come back.

As for nobody really caring that he killed Danzo - some of them do care, but considering they were busy with an upcoming war and now the war itself, it's understandable that they don't pay much attention to the death of Danzo.

But Sasuke is definitely not regarded as a hero - he threw the chance of being recognized as such away when he decided to go further on his path of revenge.
