[Question] Should I go back to read Fairy tail?

Well I remember that I stopped reading the manga at chapter 145 and watching the anime at like episode 63. I remember that I lose interest in it, I liked some of the characters but I didn't like how natsu always got instant power-ups at random times etc. So my question is, does it get more interesting later on? are the fights a little bit more serious? And the fanservice, I don't mind it but I remember there was too much of it lol but that's not really a problem

It would be funny if you stopped watching it at the filler arc lmao because that sucked... But yeah thats just your opinion on why you dont like it ... Natsu doesn't get random power ups he just digs deep and comes up with a plan to win and it is no different then when Luffy is getting overpowered than finds a way to win anyway..... BUT aye if you dont like it dont watch it.... It is better than Naruto in my opinion

Not just that but (I don't want to offend anyone that likes it) I thought some of the characters were kinda cliche etc I did like some of the characters a lot but I might give it another chance, I'll check it again to see if I will be able to get into it or not.

If you can't get into it the first time, I don't think you will get into it the second time. Fairy Tail is more of a comedic manga, it has its serious moments but there's always a scene right after it or in the middle of it which is goofy. Such as Natsu's friendship power-ups, or random fan service which most people enjoy tbh.

I stopped at the filler arc after Tenroujima, but I started watching again a few weeks ago, then continued with the manga, it's pretty epic now. ( Jellal returns ^^ )

The fights are getting better, some cool characters have been introduced, there is a new soundtrack, etc. So yes it has gotten better, but it still has that Nakama bullcrap and the lame powerups. It is also starting to develop the plot a bit more, but if you stopped watching/reading because of that Nakama/powerup stuff then you probably wouldn't want to keep following it.
