Darker Than Black....Should I, or should I not?

Well, I'm looking for an anime like FMA Brotherhood.
The supernatural powers, the great story, and awesome character development.

Also, Like brotherhood, I want their to be more fighting then there is talking, if you know what I mean.
I tried watching Fairy Tail. But the fights were not intense. Like with FMA, the fights had me at the edge of my seat. I was like OMG is he going to make it out alive!!.

Anyway, is Darker Than Black worth the watch? Im 19 and I'm looking for something like FMA Brotherhood.(obviously now)

Anyway, if I like FMA, will I like Darker Than Black?

Also any other suggestions are welcomed.

Darker than Black is definitely an intense series, but personally I'd say it's VERY different from Brotherhood. Both are definitely action packed and contain a lot of mysteries amidst the ongoing story, but atmosphere is nowhere near similar between the two and the characters go through vastly different struggles.

Overall I'd say go for it. In my eyes DtB was a great series and I'm sure you'd enjoy it, but not because it's a Brotherhood-ish series. Make sure to watch season 2 and then the OVA between the two seasons. Many people seem to hate season 2 but I personally enjoyed it more than the rest of the series due to the character development and driving plot in spite of the fact that it was half of the first season's length.

OK thanks, how are the fight scenes... and are they frequent?
Also, is the story going to keep me suspended and want to come back for more??
Thats pretty much what I meant by "like FMA"
Are the fight scenes epic like they are in bleach as well?

First season is very much action-packed, you'll be getting fights all over the place there and seeing the different powers each character has is really something. I'd say that second season has by far the least intense action of the series but I felt it makes up for it with plot twists and character development. I will say that first season and second season do feel really different though so keep that in mind if you decide to watch it.

First season is much more episodic so there isn't really one particular "plot" or "goal" to follow, though over time you do learn more about the major characters and how they've developed up to that point through past experiences. Second season has a much more urgent sense of danger and story though.

Honestly I'd say Brotherhood is superior to DtB. Storywise, character development wise, varietywise, etc. The cast in Brotherhood is wider and has a lot more depth, whereas major DtB characters are pretty well developed but face what are largely expendable, crony enemies who matter for about 2 or 3 episodes and then die off with a few notable exceptions. If you're referring to the action, then that's debatable. I liked FMA's more if only because the alchemy allows for a lot of different combat styles even though it's largely the same abilities, not to mention the fights with characters like Wrath and Greed.

Of course, if you were talking about the first FMA anime then disregard everything I just said, I'd agree wholeheartedly.

Yes, watch Darker Than Black. It's my 3rd favorite anime, after Yu Yu Hakusho and Death Note. You should also definitely check out Yu Yu Hakusho. It's the greatest anime created. Fact.
