Why do so many ppl insist that the global reach of USA is such a bad thing, some even hate them for it?

I mean if the dominant power in the world (superpower) wast a stable democratic country run by the people (many can argue against this but the fact is that for 57 times every four years the presidency of the USA has been released and accepted by the next president in PEACE and without violance and FREE ELCECTIONS) and is tolerant towards other nations. It brings predictability and stability to many regions in the world, without it many lesser conflicts could have escalated beyond its region if that ''safeguard'' wasnt there.

Imagine if there was a democratic country such as the US is today and as powerful as today back on 1.9.1939 maybe than the horrible 6 years might have never happened and instead there was a regional unrest in central Europe which would indeed be grave but not even nearly as horrible as what actually happened

the bottom line is if the US wasnt as powerful for the past 50 years as it was there is no way we could live as we do today

Probably because how people believe the U.S. is spreading terror instead of peace.
Teddy was the only one who tried spreading peace and people actually acknowledged it as a sign of peace. But back to the main point, we're trying to spread our belief to the world, which for some isn't what they want, sure everyone wants the freedom to live, and what we do there is a good thing, but the fact that we are selling weapons to the enemy, and thus the enemy kills us with those weapons, only further increases terror.

You assume people hate the USA. Some people like things about it and dislike other stuff about it, like for other countries... Ou may find people relating obesity and craziness to the USA but that's stereotype, and they don't really mean it.... However you guys may feel like victims, but alsmot everything is given a sterytype... Some people think that Africa is a country, poverty everywhere, no cities, just lions, trees, zebras etc... About arabic countries, people think that is terrible, there is no freedom at all, and for the muslims they think they are terrorists, don't celebrate christmas, haven't freedom, etc...

Without the US; we wouldn't have the threat of nuclear war. Without the US; there'd be no Al-Quaeda threat. Without the US; there'd be no failed League of Nations. Without the US; we'd probably have a more Socialist and friendly world. Without the US; innocent children wouldn't be killed in Libanon, Palastine, Iraq and almost every nation in the Middle East. Without the US; there'd be a power-triangle between the British, the French and Germany/Italy as was custom. Without the US; we'd have a bigger Mexican nation with more potential for economic growth. Without the US; the Russians would've still won us the second World War. Without the US; we'd have no Henry Ford to torture the working class to exhaustion. Without the US; we'd have no Rick Santorum. Without the US; we'd have no useless waste of fossil fuels (or certainly not to such an extent).

I don't hate the US, just the way its system works. Americans in general are pretty laid back people, maybe a bit too much obsessed with politics, though.

But I think it's because it is the only country in the western world, where the most powerful insist it slowly goes back to living in the 1950's..

Would you let someone who can barely count manage your money? What I'm trying to say is, if the US leaders can barely keep America stitched together, why would anyone want them running the world?

America is full of corruption and greed and is probably the epicenter of moral decay. That's why people hate us.
