Re: Ending Fire with Kurapika
You see, I kind of do things a bit differently from your former teacher. I'll be telling you what to do, describing the jutsu a bit and providing you with a wiki page. I ask of you that you describe how you perform it and tell me any interesting aspects of it. You can name either an advantage, a disadvantage, a use, a counter, all of previous, whatever suits you.
(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique
Channel your katon chakra into your lungs and ignite the oxygen within it as you expel it. Manipulate the flames' shape into a smaller fireball by compressing them. Release the flames into a maelstrom as it nears the opponent so it engulfs him.
Some may not properly counter this, being deluded by its size before it engulfs.

I take position, forcus and gather lots of chakra in my lungs, and inhale as much as i can while mixing the air with the chakra in my lungs, merging them as i exhale and use nature manipulation to turn the chakra into fire element while molding it as it leaves my mouth into a large fireball that turns into a huge maelstorm as it nears a giant boulder midrange and melts it.
Disadvantage: It's a straight-forward attack without much speed or power as it travels and that is not very good, you could avoid this by going underground simply, the good thing is this technique turns into a huge maelstorm of fire as it nears the opponent and as such should only be used in a situation where the opponent is distracted or can't see you.

( Katon: Gōka Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Fire Flame Pillars Technique
Focus your katon chakra into your foot, then stop the ground with your foot releasing your katon into the ground. Maintain an underground stream. Make the chakra emerge in the form of three pillars of flames from any point within midrange.
This jutsu I love. The best part of it is that it doesn't travel from your location to your opponent's, you can use it even if there's something blocking the path between you and it can't be noticed until it emerges.

I gather chakra in my body and focus on my right foot as i use nature manipulation to change it to fire chakra while stomping and channeling it through the ground with force, i manipulate the fire chakra to emerge infront of me mid-range as 3 pillars of fire several meters tall spaced out evenly.
Advantage: It's a very easy technique to use but at the same time very effective, you can apply this in multiple different ways with other combination of techniques.

Re: Ending Fire with Kurapika
Very good. We're gonna start doing three jutsu per post, so hold on tight.
(Katon Renkeijutsu: Karura) - Fire Release Co-Operation Technique: Garuda
My own personal opinion of this technique is that its preparation is too impractical to be usable, and its power is not enough to justify it. But nonetheless, create two shadow clone then all three of you inhale, channel your katon chakra into your lungs, breath out as you ignite the oxygen. Keep that up to create three streams of flames which you manipulate into one dragon shaped one.
http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Re...hnique:_Garuda
(Katon: Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique
Channel a great deal of katon chakra into your lungs as you fill them with air, ignite it and compress the flames as much as you can. The high pressure fireballs will then be so coherent that they're almost solid. Manipulate their shape into dragon heads for decoration.
I'd say this jutsu is the least vulnerable to suiton attacks, and the best katon jutsu for overpowering doton armors while also burning the opponent.
http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Re...Song_Technique
(Katon: Bakuryūgeki) - Fire Release: Exploding Dragon Strike
Best thing about this jutsu is that it's a summon, which means you don't actively channel your katon chakra into it as it heads towards your opponent. This means you can mold another chakra type while it's in the battle field.
Open the scroll and channel your katon chakra into it to activate the seal, use your katon chakra to direct the firemade dragon towards its opponent.

http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Exploding_Dragon_Strike
1. I produce 2 shadow clones to my right side and left side and then we all do the Dog → Rat → Tiger as we inhale air to our lungs and mix fire chakra with it as we exhale to ignite a long stream of fire from each of us and we mold the flames together to make a dragon of fire.
Disadvantage: The technique doesn't make up for its prep time.
2. I gather and build up alot of chakra and inhale deeply filling my air with lungs and keeping it there as i mix alot of chakra before exhaling as i ignite the air and use shape manipulation to mold and shoot a number of dragon-head shaped fire with great temperature.
Advantage: Very nice technique that has high potential to end a fight if used right.
3. I open the scroll, mold some katon chakra that i channel into the seal and summon a fire dragon that i control and manipulate and direct it towards a forest nearby where it explodes.
Advantage: Easy to use technique that makes up for its easy prep time unlike the Garuda technique.

Re: Ending Fire with Kurapika
Nice job!
(Katon: Goen Rasengan) - Fire Style: Flame Rasengan
Create a normal rasengan then steadily channel your katon chakra into it, heating the swirling air currents and igniting the oxygen. The already formed rasengan will be set ablaze.
This jutsu has the same downsides as rasenga, it will occupy one of your hands while you're in close range. Very impractical if you ask me.
http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Re...Flame_Rasengan
(Katon: Fuuton Ken Katon Bakufuu no Jutsu) Fire Release: Wind and Fire Blast Technique
The description say it all. After using Pressure Damade, quickly channel your katon chakra into your lungs and exhale the fireball for Intense pain. Their collision should make up a big mess.
A large scale jutsu, useful for when you can't locate your opponent or if your opponent is temporarily confined.
http://narutoanw.wikia.com/wiki/Wind...last_Technique
(Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku) - Fire release: Great Fire Majestic Annihilation
One of the most used and powerful katon jutsu there is. The fire is so dense it doesn't spread out and keeps shape, and it's shaped as a huge wall.
Breath in air, channel your katon into your lungs and infuse the air with it, to its fullest capacity. Breath out the air which is containing immense amounts of katon chakra, as you do so, ignite the air but using your chakra, compress the generated flames into a wall, not allowing them to leak out.

1. I focus chakra in my body as usual before gathering it in my hand which should happen very easily because of all this training i've went through.
Next i focus the gathered chakra at one point in the middle of my right palm while spinning the chakra to the right three-dimensionally as i concentrate on maintaining the spinning spherical ball that is the rasengan. Then while maintaining the rasengan in my right hand, i focus elemental chakra in my left which would be fire for me as i flow it to my rasengan and merging it with the spherical chakra thereby creating a flaming rasengan with lot more destructive power then a normal rasengan
Disadvantage: It's in your hand, it's like dodging a punch, unless you manage to palm-thrust into your opponent this technique is pretty much useless.
Advantage: A stronger rasengan, instant kill if it hits.
2. I focus chakra in my body to build up for this next technique, i concentrate on my wind chakra before inhaling deeply into my lungs and focusing wind chakra there, condensing before i then exhale and use shape manipulation to have it rotate while leaving my mouth and comes out like an uncontrollable twister that i release before forming the Rat → Dog → Tiger handseals inhale and exhale a compressed small fireball that once made contact with the ground erupts into a giant fire-storm and with the pressure damage becomes powerful enough to destroy the whole area we're training at.
Advantage: Extremely powerful technique, undodgable and takes a powerful move to counter or block it.
3. I perform the Horse handseal where i inhale as much as i can into my lungs and gather a tremendous amount of katon chakra where i condense it greatly before releasing it all as i exhale but still keeping steady control as i shape the flames into a huge wall covering a wide range both horizontally and vertically that pushes forward.
Disadvantage: You can avoid this technique by simply going under-ground and the user of this technique has his field of vision blocked by the great fire and he must continously exhale for the technique to work so he can't release it and do something else.

Re: Ending Fire with Kurapika
Last jutsu!
(Katon: Gōka Mes****su) - Fire Release: Great Fire Destruction
Imo, a better version of Great Fire Majestic Annihilation, as this one is a continues stream which you can redirect half way through.
Inhale as you channel your katon chakra into your lungs, keep channeling your chakra and condensing it. When the air in your lungs is soaking in chakra, release it in a steady flow as you ignite the air, resulting in a giant stream of intense flames.
http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Re...re_Destruction
There doesn't seem to be any ACCTs, so if there are any jutsu that were added after your previous training thread, please let me know of them. ^^

Idk, i never look at AACT's but there was one A rank technique i never learned, it was intelligent Hard work.
I gather a tremendous amount of chakra, i resolve myself to perform this technique effectively while i inhale as deeply as i can, mixing all of my chakra into my lungs and turning it into fire, condensing it with effort before exhaling in a continuous gigantic stream of intesely hot flames that burn everything in its path.
Advantage: It's range is so huge it is almost impossible, it can cover a large area and would be big enough to engulf 2 boss summons like Gamabunta.
Disadvantage: It's power makes up for any weakness it could possibly have but one weakness is that you contiously exhale the flames from your mouth and by that would be trouble if gotten a surprise attack from behind.

Re: Ending Fire with Kurapika
We'll learn it then!
(Katon: Zukokku) - Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work
Channel your katon chakra into your lungs as you breath in, immensely compress it into a relatively small fireball. Once it hits a surface, the fireball will lose shape and flames will spread out racing along the ground.
This is a somewhat difficult jutsu to avoid, and a lot of people miscounter it. It's also possible to hide it behind another jutsu due to its small base size.
