(Blitz3d) Final Fantasy X - Where are good places to grind for AP/items?

I know two places to grind tons of AP and thats the Bevelle Highbridge and the Calm Lands... Anyone still remember or have any memory of good grinding places? I want to get through my Expert Sphere Grid as quickly as I can and teach everyone at least up to the "-ga" spells and some form of Cure and defensive White Magic. I'm currently at the Calm Lands because I only just beat Seymour Natus :D

Thoughts/Suggestions?

Says on the site, Omega Ruins or something.

I remember playing that game, I save-load-save-load rinse repeat until I get lucky enough to use Yojimbo's Zanmato.

isn't the Yojimbo some samurai enemy? btw what does Zanmato do? It sounds like Zantetsuken to me :L

Ether Omega Ruins, Inside of Sin or the Farm place(where that guy has all creatures you can fight)

Yojimbo is a summoning but you have to fight him to get him like Anima and the bug trio.
-Zanmato is a one hit kill i think he just slices the enemy in half

Yeah, but it works on all bosses unlike Zantensuken (Zantetsuken?)!
Dark Aeons are annoying in this game therefore Zanmato is a staple.

^^^^ He is correct. That was my romping grounds for many hours while training my characters.

Edit: I just noticed that you are still early on in the game and won't be able to access the Omega Ruins for a loooong time. If I was you I would just train a lot in the calm lands. The newest area that you get to is usually the best place for training.

haha duude share the rep what more advice do you want from me. btw zanmato is rigged. Pay yojimbo 500 thousand wen u summon him and he will pretty much always use it. cheap way to kill all the dark aeons and penance. Also, mt. gagazat is a good place to grind where you are at this stage as you wont be able to hit up omega ruins for some time. Kimahri can also learn some really good skills on gagazat

Depends on what you want.
If you want loads of AP the best place to go to is probably omega ruins like loads have stated above. If you can grab double AP on a weapon the your laughing and will complete the whole grid in pretty much no time at all.

If you want stat boots so all of your stats are 255 you'd first need to complete the monster farm thing, getting ten of every enemy in the game. This will unlock special enemies to fight which give you spheres to over write the old one. Making all of your sphere grid +4's on all stats. Annoyingly there is only enough to max out all but one stat. I usually leave out evasion as by the time you get this strong there's no need to evade as enemies will be either vanquished within a second or too strong so they never miss.
